A free demo of Diss Diss Discussion is available to download on Steam. The upcoming visual novel from Frontwing features character designs and art by Takuya Fujima, known for his work on the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series. Its full release is planned for early 2027 on Steam and Nintendo Switch.
What is Diss Diss Discussion about?
The story takes place at Kohnodai Academy, a school that describes itself as student-run and values student autonomy. A debate begins when student council president Sakurai Risa proposes making school uniforms optional. Students also clash over unwanted assignments during a meeting about the cultural festival.
Steam describes the visual novel as a multi-perspective story in which players ultimately choose an ending. Its official English synopsis says, “Kohnodai Academy prides itself on the self-governance and autonomy of its students.” Frontwing’s official English site presents the school disputes as the story’s starting point.
