It is not confirmed that Marvel Rivals players already have Human Torch icons. The official sources establish that Johnny Storm became playable on February 21, 2025, and list several Human Torch costumes, but they do not identify the “icons” mentioned in the headline or show that players have unlocked them.
What does “Human Torch icon” mean?
The phrase could refer to a player-facing icon, such as a Lord icon, or it could be a loose reference to a Human Torch cosmetic. Those are not interchangeable: a costume changes a character’s appearance, while an icon would be a separate item or profile element. The available official notes confirm costumes, not the specific icon claim.
A Reddit search-result snippet titled “Human Torch’s new Lord icon” mentions an icon, but the post itself could not be accessed. That clue is not enough to verify what the icon looks like, how it is earned, when it became available, or which players have it. Reddit search result

The documented rewards are costumes
The February 2025 notes list Negative Zone Gladiator and First Family as launch costumes, and Human Torch – Blood Blaze as a Season 1.5 Gold-rank costume reward. The September 9, 2026 Season 10 notes list Human Torch – Jack of Hearts among College Perk costumes. None of those entries identifies a player icon or confirms that players own one. To establish that players have Human Torch icons, a reliable source would need to show the icon itself and identify where it appears—such as a player profile, scoreboard, or hero interface. An official announcement or accessible in-game documentation could also confirm its name and unlock method. Without that evidence, the number of players who have it, its availability, and how it is obtained remain unverified.
