When did Lost Soul Aside launch?
Lost Soul Aside launched on August 29, 2025, for PS5 and PC. The official PlayStation.Blog launch post names PS5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store; the PlayStation US game page also lists August 29, 2025, for PS5.
Why do some dates get mistaken for the embargo?
The release date changed from the earlier plan
On February 12, 2025, Game Director and Ultizero Games CEO Yang Bing announced on PlayStation.Blog that the game was then planned to launch on PS5 and PC on May 30, 2025. That was the originally announced date, not the eventual launch. The sources cited here do not explain the change.

A review’s publication date is not the embargo time
TechRadar’s review page is dated September 7, 2025. It establishes when that review was published, after launch, but not when its embargo lifted or whether other outlets could publish earlier.
