What is established for PSP, PS5, and Xbox 360?
PSP: an emulator setup path, not a hardware conversion
The PPSSPP information describes configuring a PSP emulator, while DeckyEmu describes a broader emulator setup workflow. Together, these sources support the idea that PSP emulation can be set up on a Deck. They do not verify the headline’s unnamed plugin or establish that every PSP game will work. The PPSSPP page is old, so check current project documentation before following its setup details.

PS5: controller identity is not game execution
The controller-profile project describes ways for the Deck to present input using identities such as PS5 or PS5 Edge. That is a controller-related capability; it is not evidence that a Decky plugin runs PS5 games on the Deck.

Xbox 360: peripheral support is not emulation
The xone plugin concerns Xbox controller drivers, including support for Xbox 360 peripherals. A separate community discussion concerns an Xbox 360-inspired interface theme. Neither source establishes Xbox 360 game emulation through a Decky plugin.

- Find the plugin’s exact name and primary project page. “A Steam Deck plugin” is too vague to verify; start with documentation from the author or project.
- Check what it actually changes. Look for a clear description of whether it runs games, configures emulators, outputs controller input, manages drivers, or changes the interface.
- Match the claim to evidence. A driver list, controller profile, or theme screenshot cannot by itself demonstrate that games from a console run on the Deck.
- Check current compatibility and instructions. Plugin and operating-system compatibility can change, and older setup pages may no longer reflect current steps.
Without the plugin’s identity and primary documentation, the specific claim that one new plugin turns the Deck into a PSP, PS5, or Xbox 360 remains unverified. The available sources establish distinct emulator, controller, driver, and theme projects—not the promised all-in-one transformation.
