Short answer: Sonic Prime does not confirm that Amy has stopped liking Sonic, but it also does not explicitly confirm that she still has a romantic crush on him. The series presents their connection through friendship, trust and teamwork; the romance question is left unstated in the available dialogue and official descriptions.
What Sonic Prime says about Amy and Sonic
Netflix describes the series as Sonic racing through parallel dimensions to reconnect with his friends and save the world. Its Media Center synopsis similarly centers on Sonic trying to restore his reality and save friends he had taken for granted. Those official descriptions frame the story around friendship and repairing relationships, not a romance between Sonic and Amy. Netflix’s official series page and Netflix Media Center do not specify Amy’s romantic feelings.

That does not establish that Amy no longer likes Sonic. It means the series’ framing, by itself, does not answer whether she has a crush on him.
Do Rusty Rose and Thorn Rose settle the question?
No. Rusty Rose and Thorn Rose are Amy-associated characters from alternate worlds in the Shatterverse; they should not be treated as direct stand-ins for Amy in Sonic’s prime reality. Their scenes can show how Sonic relates to these counterparts, but do not definitively reveal the original Amy’s feelings.
#1 Best Overall
Rusty Rose
In the transcript for “Escape from New Yoke,” Sonic recognizes Rusty as Amy, and she identifies herself as mechanically enhanced. Later, after she is free of the Chaos Council’s control, she joins Sonic’s group. Sonic calls her “my Rusty Rose” and welcomes her with family-like camaraderie. Those moments suggest attachment and friendship, not a romantic declaration about Amy.
Thorn Rose
In the transcript for “It Takes One to No Place,” Sonic tells Thorn Rose, “where I’m from, you and I are buds.” That is explicit friendship language between Sonic and an alternate counterpart. It does not establish whether Amy in his original world has romantic feelings for him.

Friendship is not proof of a crush
Loyalty, concern and closeness can matter deeply without being romantic. Sonic Prime gives its characters reasons to trust and work together, but friendship language and warm reunion scenes cannot, on their own, confirm or disprove a crush. The distinction matters especially here because some of the most relevant interactions involve alternate versions of Amy rather than Amy herself.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. So, does Amy still like Sonic?
The most precise canon-based answer is that Sonic Prime leaves Amy’s romantic feelings unstated in the material reviewed. The show does not say she has stopped liking Sonic, and it does not explicitly confirm that she still has a crush. Viewers may interpret their relationship in light of the wider Sonic series, but Sonic Prime’s own premise and the cited counterpart scenes do not resolve that interpretation.
