No co-op campaign or combat is documented for Arknights: Endfield as of October 8, 2026. Steam lists it as single-player, and its battles put one player in control of a squad of up to four Operators. Endfield does have social features—including friend visits, clue exchanges, facility repairs and shareable factory blueprints—but those are not shared story or combat sessions.
Is Arknights: Endfield multiplayer or co-op?
For playing the campaign or fighting alongside another person, the answer is no based on the available official information. Steam labels Arknights: Endfield “Single-player,” and the official materials reviewed do not describe a shared campaign or real-time co-op combat.
That is a statement about what is documented as of October 8, 2026—not a guarantee that multiplayer could never be added. GRYPHLINE’s October 7 update notice mentions features and optimizations in development, but does not announce co-op.
Why does Endfield have a four-Operator team?
The four Operators in a battle are characters controlled by one player, not four human players in a party. In a PlayStation.Blog article published January 16, 2026, HYPERGRYPH co-founder and director Light Zhong explained: “Battles feature up to four Operators fighting simultaneously, with players freely switching control between them at any moment.”

What can you do with friends?
Endfield supports social interaction, but it is separate from joining another player’s story or combat. GRYPHLINE’s official release-preview notice describes clue collection and exchange in the Dijiang Reception Room, as well as shared facilities that other players can help repair. A later official update notice describes gifting duplicate clues, collecting clues gifted by friends and visiting the next friend’s ship.

Players can also save and share factory layouts, according to the PlayStation.Blog gameplay article. Sharing a blueprint lets another player use a layout; it does not create a shared factory-building session or co-op campaign.

Endfield supports cross-platform account and save synchronization, which is different from cross-play. GRYPHLINE’s January 20, 2026 release notice says save data under the same account is synced across platforms. Its September 15, 2026 Steam playtest FAQ says players can carry progress over after linking the account on the corresponding server; the Steam version uses the same game servers and account data as other platforms.

Server choice matters: the FAQ says data cannot be shared between the Asia server and the Americas / Europe server. These account and progression details establish that you can continue your own progress across supported platforms under the stated conditions. They do not establish that you can join another player’s session.
