Yes. ARC Raiders supports crossplay between PlayStation, Xbox and PC, so players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC can play together. It also supports cross-progression through an Embark ID, which connects supported platform accounts to your progress, purchases, cosmetics and friends.
The important limitation is account linking: Embark explicitly names Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for cross-progression. You must connect the accounts you use to the same Embark ID, and removing every linked third-party account can permanently delete that Embark ID and its associated ARC Raiders data.

What crossplay means in ARC Raiders
Crossplay lets players on different hardware join the same social and multiplayer experience. The official ARC Raiders site describes the feature as “seamless social play across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.” In practical terms, a player on PlayStation 5 can play with someone on Xbox Series X|S or a PC player, provided each person is using the required account connection.

Which platforms support ARC Raiders?
The official ARC Raiders platform list includes Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and GeForce NOW. The crossplay statement groups those experiences into PlayStation, Xbox and PC social play. GeForce NOW is a cloud-delivered way to access the PC version rather than a separate console family.

The FAQ specifically names Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S when describing cross-progression. That wording does not establish a separate cross-save promise for every launcher or cloud service, so players switching to the Epic Games Store or accessing the game through GeForce NOW should verify that the underlying account is the one already connected to their Embark ID.

An Embark ID is the account layer that ties your supported platform identities together. Embark says the ID keeps your progress, purchases and in-game cosmetics tied to your account, enables cross-progression between Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and enables cross-platform play with friends.

What follows your Embark ID
- Game progress: Your progression is associated with the Embark ID rather than being isolated to one console or PC account when you use the explicitly supported platforms.
- Purchases: Embark includes purchases among the account data connected to the ID.
- Cosmetics: Earned and purchased in-game cosmetics are tied to the account as well.
- Friends: The ID supports cross-platform play with friends, so your social connections can work across the supported console and PC communities.
Account data and storefront ownership are not the same thing. The first-party material explains how progress, purchases and cosmetics are tied to an Embark ID, but it does not say that buying one platform license automatically grants a separate license on every other storefront. You should still check the purchase requirement for the platform on which you want to play.
How to set up crossplay and cross-save
Use the same Embark ID everywhere you intend to play. The exact menus can change between game builds and platforms, but the account logic is consistent.
- Create or sign in to an Embark ID. ARC Raiders requires an Embark ID to play. If the game prompts you to sign in or create one, use an address and credentials you can retain long term.
- Connect your first platform account. Start with the account you already use for ARC Raiders, such as your Steam, PlayStation Network or Xbox account.
- Link the other platforms to that same ID. When moving between PC and console, choose the existing Embark ID instead of creating another one. Embark allows one account per platform, including one Steam account, one PlayStation account, one Xbox account and one Epic Games account.
- Check the linked-account list. Before launching on another device, confirm that the intended platform identity appears under the same Embark ID. This is the safest way to prevent a new, empty profile from being created by mistake.
- Launch ARC Raiders on the second platform. Sign in with the linked platform account and allow the game to use the connected Embark ID. Your supported progress and account-linked cosmetics should then be associated with that ID.
- Add friends through the cross-platform account system. Use the Embark-connected identity when inviting friends on another platform. Crossplay requires the accounts to be connected; simply owning the game on two devices does not prove that the profiles are linked.
Can you move progress from Steam to Xbox or PlayStation?
Yes, Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are the three platforms Embark explicitly identifies for cross-progression. If your Steam account and your console account are linked to the same Embark ID, the account is designed to carry supported progression between them.

The same principle works in the other direction: a player who began on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S can use the linked Embark ID when moving to Steam. The key condition is that the accounts were linked correctly before you start playing on the second platform. Starting a separate Embark ID can leave you looking at a fresh profile even though your original progress still exists on the first ID.
Does cross-progression transfer purchases and cosmetics?
Embark says an Embark ID keeps purchases and in-game cosmetics tied to the account, alongside progress. That includes cosmetics you earned as well as cosmetics associated with purchases, according to the account-management guidance.
Do not interpret that statement as a universal storefront-license guarantee. A platform may still require its own access entitlement, and the official cross-progression wording does not state that one purchase gives ownership on Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and GeForce NOW simultaneously. Treat the Embark ID as the account and data connection, then confirm access requirements for each storefront.

Account-linking warning: do not remove every account casually
Embark’s account-management guidance contains a serious deletion warning. If all third-party game accounts are unlinked from an Embark ID, the Embark ID is permanently deleted. The player then loses ARC Raiders and THE FINALS progress, along with purchased and earned cosmetics associated with that account.
Before unlinking anything:
- Write down which Steam, PlayStation, Xbox or Epic account is currently connected.
- Make sure at least one intended third-party account remains linked while you resolve an account issue.
- Do not create a replacement Embark ID simply because a platform login screen looks empty.
- Contact Embark support through the account-help process if you are unsure which identity owns your progress.
Unlinking one platform account is different from removing every third-party account, but either action can affect which profile appears when you sign in. Check the linked-account page first and take screenshots or notes before making changes.

“My progress is missing on the second platform”
First check that both platform accounts are attached to the same Embark ID. A second Embark ID, rather than a failed save transfer, is the most important possibility to rule out. Sign out only after you have identified the original ID, and avoid unlinking every account.

“I can play, but I cannot invite a friend on another platform”
Confirm that both players are using the platform accounts linked to their Embark IDs. Cross-platform play is enabled through the account system, so an unlinked console, Steam or other PC identity can prevent the expected friend connection even when both players own the game.
“I changed PC launchers”
The official platform list includes both Steam and the Epic Games Store, but the cross-progression FAQ explicitly names Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Use the same Embark ID and verify the linked account before assuming that a launcher switch will expose every item. The available documentation does not make a separate Epic-to-Steam entitlement promise.
“I use GeForce NOW”
GeForce NOW is listed as an available ARC Raiders platform. Because it delivers a PC session, confirm which underlying PC account is being used and that it is connected to the Embark ID containing your progress. The first-party material does not provide a separate GeForce NOW cross-progression rule.

The published information confirms crossplay across PlayStation, Xbox and PC and explicitly confirms cross-progression for Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S through an Embark ID. It does not provide a player-count statistic, a platform-by-platform entitlement matrix, or a statement that one storefront purchase grants access everywhere. Those details should not be inferred from the existence of crossplay.
For the clearest result, keep one Embark ID as your permanent account, link only the platform identities you actually use, and verify the account connections before changing launchers or unlinking anything.
