Yes—but only as a demo. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection includes the full Lords of Shadow, Mirror of Fate HD, the Reverie and Resurrection DLC packs, and a demo of Lords of Shadow 2. It does not include the full sequel.
What is included in the collection?
- The full Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.
- Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD.
- The Reverie and Resurrection DLC packs for Lords of Shadow.
- An exclusive demo of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.
Konami’s October 9, 2013 announcement lists these contents. The key distinction is that the collection bundles a playable sample of the sequel, not the complete game.

Is the full Lords of Shadow 2 included?
No. The full Lords of Shadow 2 is a separate game. Konami’s product page lists the full sequel for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC; its collection inclusion is only the demo.

- Continue the Lords of Shadow excitement with Castlevania - Lords of Shadow Mirror of Fate HD
- Dive into the darkness with exclusive access to the Castlevania - Lords of Shadow 2 demo
Could you get the demo separately?
Yes. Konami announced that the demo would be freely available through PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, and Steam starting February 13, 2014. In a February 11, 2014 PlayStation Blog post, Konami Community Manager T.K. Shrodes wrote: “Originally available only to owners of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD and the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection, the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 demo will be available for everyone today on PlayStation Store.” The later standalone release does not change what the collection contains: a demo, not the full sequel.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What should you check when buying a copy?
Because the collection is a legacy PS3 and Xbox 360 release, check the specific listing rather than assuming every item advertised as “Lords of Shadow” is the collection.
Quick Recap
Rank #3
- Genre: Games Collection
Rank #2
- A brand new Castlevania game with state of the art graphics and high production standards to deliver an awesome game experience for PlayStation 3
- Developed by Spanish studio Mercury Steam and supervised by world renowned Kojima Productions.
- Take on behemoth enemies that scale to the size of complete world environments and where special attacks and cunning speed are required
- Title: Confirm the item is Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection, not a standalone copy of the first game, Mirror of Fate HD, or Lords of Shadow 2.
- Platform: Make sure the disc is for the console you own: PS3 or Xbox 360.
- Region: Check regional compatibility for the disc and your console, especially for imported copies.
- Condition and completeness: Review the seller’s description and photos for disc condition and included packaging or inserts. The historic publisher listings do not establish what a current seller has in stock or what is included in a particular used copy.
- Sequel expectation: If you want the complete Lords of Shadow 2, look for that game separately; the collection advertises only its demo.
