No. EA says an EA Account belongs to its account holder and must not be shared, even with a family member. If you’re a parent, the permitted alternative is to let your teen use a separate EA Account and manage it through EA’s Family account feature.
What EA’s account-sharing rule says
EA’s User Agreement, last updated May 14, 2026, states: “You are responsible for the activity on your EA Account; it’s yours, don’t share it.” EA’s Positive Play Charter makes the family point explicit: “You can’t share an EA account with anyone, even a family member.”
That means you should not give another person your EA login to use your account, whether they are a friend, partner, or relative. Sharing a household device does not by itself mean credentials can be shared; keep each person’s EA account separate.
What can happen if someone else uses your account
You remain responsible for activity on the account. EA says an account may be suspended or terminated if someone else uses it to engage in activity that violates the User Agreement. That is a stated possible consequence for violating activity, not a claim that every instance of shared use automatically triggers suspension or termination.

How parents can manage a teen’s EA account
EA’s Family account feature is for managing a teen’s own account, not sharing an adult’s credentials. An adult can add a teen’s separate EA Account to a Family account to manage playtime and spending. EA’s Family account instructions say that teen-account ages depend on the country and that the teen must accept the invitation within 24 hours.
EA also directs parents to parental controls on the console or other device they provide. Those controls can enable or restrict a child’s online play and social features; they are separate from EA Family management and do not make sharing an adult EA login appropriate. See EA’s parental-controls guidance.

Keep your EA login secure
Do not share your password, login information, verification codes, or passkeys. If another person already knows your credentials, use EA’s account-security help to secure the account. EA also recommends reviewing trusted devices and considering a passkey when available; see its login verification information.

EA’s account rule does not, by itself, answer whether a particular game purchase, library, console-sharing feature, or simultaneous play arrangement is allowed. Those questions depend on the game’s terms and the relevant console or storefront rules. Check the current rules for the specific title and platform rather than treating permission to access a game as permission to share an EA account.
