No. Lunar Client runs Minecraft: Java Edition; it does not launch or turn into a Bedrock client. Bedrock players can, however, join a Lunar Client Hosted World using Bedrock’s server menu and the host’s address.
What Lunar Client supports
Lunar Client describes itself as a modpack for Minecraft Java Edition and says Java Edition access on the Microsoft account is required to sign in. Its listed supported game versions are Java versions, not Bedrock versions. See Lunar Client’s FAQ for its edition and account requirements.

Bedrock and Java are separate Minecraft editions. Minecraft Help explains that Bedrock players join Bedrock multiplayer worlds, servers, Realms, and LAN games, while Java players join Java-hosted games: Minecraft’s edition and multiplayer guidance.
Can Bedrock players play with someone using Lunar Client?
Yes, in a specific case: Lunar documents Bedrock compatibility for its Hosted Worlds feature. A Bedrock player can connect to a Lunar Hosted World by adding the host’s address in Bedrock. This is Bedrock joining a Java-hosted world; it does not mean Lunar Client itself supports Bedrock.

Join a Lunar Hosted World from Bedrock
- Ask the Lunar player to start the Hosted World and give you its address. The host’s world runs locally on their computer and shuts down when they leave.
- In Bedrock, open Play → Servers → Add Server.
- Enter the Hosted World address and use port 19132, then save the server and connect. Lunar’s instructions are at Lunar Client’s Hosted Worlds Bedrock compatibility guide.
Lunar’s guide documents these steps but does not promise that every console, mobile device, or network configuration offers the same server-adding options. If you cannot add a server, check the current options for your Bedrock device and consult Lunar support.

Use a Bedrock installation or client on the device where you want to play Bedrock. Lunar Client is for Java Edition, and its downloads are listed for Windows, macOS, and Linux on Lunar Client’s download page. Installing Lunar does not provide Bedrock support.
