What is confirmed about Phoenix Cyclops?
Arc System Works producer Takeshi Yamanaka announced Phoenix Cyclops as the first additional character joining the game as part of its Year 1 content. The design draws on Cyclops’s Phoenix Five incarnation from Avengers vs. X-Men, with Optic Blasts, hand-to-hand combat abilities, and Phoenix Force powers. PlayStation’s announcement also identifies Ray Chase as the character’s voice actor.

Does he release on November 2?
Not on the evidence available in PlayStation’s cited official materials. The July 23 announcement and official trailer listing described Phoenix Cyclops as arriving in Fall 2026, without specifying November 2. Those materials also do not give a launch time or say whether timing differs by region or platform. Treat November 2 as unverified unless a newer official announcement confirms it.
How do players get Phoenix Cyclops?
PlayStation describes the character as part of Year 1 content. Its US product page lists the Year 1 Character and Stage Pass with the Digital Deluxe and Ultimate editions, and also lists the pass as a separate add-on. That does not establish whether Phoenix Cyclops can be purchased individually; the cited page does not confirm a standalone character purchase.

Are special controllers required?
