PLS DONATE’s official Roblox listing says players can raise Robux, but that description alone does not prove a particular donation reached its recipient. Roblox changed how in-game donations can be handled in 2026, and the available official sources do not confirm whether PLS DONATE currently uses the new transfer system. Check your Roblox transaction history or pending balance rather than relying on a booth total or animation.
What the game claims—and what that confirms
The official PLS DONATE listing describes a booth-based experience where players can raise Robux or donate to others. It also says Roblox Plus is required to donate and includes transfer and age-related eligibility notes, including that some users under 18 may need parental approval. These are claims and requirements stated on the listing; they are not independent confirmation that a donation shown in the game has settled.
So the careful answer is: the game says yes, but its current payout path is not independently verified by the available implementation-specific sources. A booth total, on-screen animation, or donation message is not by itself proof that Robux arrived.
Why the payment method matters
Roblox has documented two materially different ways Robux may reach a creator. The timing and split depend on the method, and neither method should be assumed for a particular PLS DONATE transaction without confirmation.

| Payment path | What Roblox documents | What it means for a PLS DONATE donation |
|---|---|---|
| Experience Pass sale | Roblox Support says proceeds are held in pending status, also called escrow, before release to the creator’s Robux total, and are subject to a transaction fee. Roblox’s article does not establish a specific release time for a particular sale. Roblox Support: Experience Passes | This explains how pass earnings can be handled; it does not establish that a current PLS DONATE transaction uses a pass sale. |
| Robux transfer through Transfers API | Roblox Creator Hub documents 90% to the recipient and 10% to the experience, says Roblox takes no fee from the transfer, and lists a range of 10–500 Robux per transfer. Roblox Creator Hub: Robux transfers | These rules apply to Transfers API transactions. They do not verify that PLS DONATE has implemented or used the API for a particular donation. |
What changed in 2026
In a May 4, 2026 announcement, Roblox said cross-game sales of passes and developer products would end on May 29, 2026, and described Transfers API as the official route for in-game donations and tipping. Roblox Developer Forum announcement
That platform-level change makes the implementation question important: does the live PLS DONATE experience use Transfers API, and can an eligible player complete a transfer there under the post–May 29 rules? The official listing and Roblox’s general documentation do not answer that specific question. Treat the API’s 90/10 split and 10–500 Robux range as API rules, not as verified PLS DONATE payout terms.

How to check whether Robux arrived
- After a legitimate donation, check your Roblox transaction history and pending Robux balance.
- If the amount is pending, Roblox’s Experience Pass guidance explains that pass earnings can be held in escrow before release. It does not provide a universal release-time promise for every transaction.
- If the balance or transaction history does not show the expected amount, do not treat the in-game booth display as proof of payment. Review Roblox’s current support information and the game’s current listing for eligibility and transaction details.
Robux are not cash
Robux are platform currency, not ordinary money. Roblox’s Terms of Use say Robux have no equivalent real-currency value and generally cannot be redeemed for money, except under applicable terms for accepted DevEx creators. Do not assume that receiving Robux creates a cash balance or that an off-platform trade is protected or supported.
