How PLS DONATE used to give players Robux
The official PLS DONATE experience page instructs players to create game passes and claim a stand. It describes donations as purchases of passes or clothing: another player buys an item, and the seller receives proceeds. The page cautions that the amount received may be lower than the price shown because of Roblox deductions.

That describes the game’s stated method, not proof that the method still works today. Roblox announced that cross-game sales of passes and developer products would be discontinued on May 29, 2026. The PLS DONATE page still describes pass and clothing sales, but the official sources available do not establish whether the experience has implemented Roblox’s replacement transfer system.
Does the booth amount equal the Robux you receive?
No. The amount shown at a booth is the item’s listed sale price, not a guarantee of the amount credited to the seller. The PLS DONATE page says the received amount may be lower after Roblox deductions. A displayed donation should not be treated as a confirmed deposit until it appears in your account’s transaction records.

What changed in Roblox’s donation rules?
In a Developer Forum announcement dated May 4, 2026, and updated May 5, 2026, Roblox said cross-game sales of passes and developer products would be discontinued on May 29, 2026. The announcement identifies the Transfers API as the official way to send Robux between users in an experience, including for tips and donations.
Roblox’s Transfers API documentation describes a different model from selling a pass. A game must implement the API, and the transfer is subject to Roblox’s eligibility and transaction rules. These are the published mechanics; they do not prove that PLS DONATE currently supports the API.

The transfer split and amount range are Roblox’s documented terms, accessed October 8, 2026. They apply to Transfers API transactions, not automatically to every booth or to PLS DONATE unless it implements that system.
Who can use the Transfers API?
Roblox Plus documentation describes transfers as a subscriber feature and says they are subject to age restrictions and parental consent. See Roblox Plus support information for the platform’s terms. A game supporting the API does not remove those player eligibility requirements.

How to check whether Robux actually arrived
- Open Roblox’s transactions page from your account menu and review your Robux transaction history.
- Look for the relevant sale or transfer and check whether it is pending or completed. Roblox Support explains that pass-sale proceeds may be held in pending status, also called escrow, before release: Pending Robux and escrow.
- Use the transaction record—not the booth display or another player’s claim—as evidence that Robux were credited. The PLS DONATE page itself directs players to Roblox transactions to check pending Robux.
Roblox Support says pass-sale proceeds may be pending, but the PLS DONATE page does not provide a verifiable fixed processing time. Do not assume a particular wait guarantees that a purchase will complete.
Are PLS DONATE Robux cash?
No. Robux are virtual currency, not cash automatically paid out to a player. Roblox’s Developer Exchange (DevEx) is limited to eligible creators and qualifying Earned Robux; purchased Robux and gift-card Robux do not count as Earned Robux for DevEx. Watch out for fake Robux offers
Do not trust websites, videos, or messages promising Robux through a generator. Roblox Support states, “There is no such thing as a Robux Generator,” and warns that these claims are scams. See Roblox’s Ways to Get Robux guidance.
