Yes. skate. supports cross-play between PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Cross-play is on automatically; add your friend to the game’s in-game friends list to play together.
Which platforms can play skate. together?
EA’s current cross-play support page lists these platforms and storefronts:

That means, for example, a PS5 player and an Xbox Series X|S player can play together. EA’s FAQ says Early Access began September 16, 2025 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, with Android and iOS to follow later. It does not confirm cross-play with mobile.
How to add a friend on another platform
- Open skate. and go to the in-game friends list.
- Add the other player there, then use that list to join or invite them to play.
EA says friends from the EA app, other EA games, or a platform’s friends list will automatically appear in the in-game friends list. Cross-play is enabled automatically, so there is no separate game setting you need to turn on. See EA’s cross-play instructions.

If a cross-platform invite does not work
On Xbox, check the console’s cross-network play and privacy settings: EA notes that Xbox platform settings may determine whether cross-play is available. Also confirm that you and your friend can find each other in the in-game friends list. EA’s instructions do not provide a full troubleshooting guide for account, parental-control, or platform-pairing issues, so those cases are not resolved by the published guidance.

Cross-play lets players on different platforms play together. Cross-progression means carrying progress between platforms. EA describes skate. as supporting both in its FAQ and its August 27, 2025 development update. The cross-play help page explains playing with friends, but does not specify every account-linking, saved-progress, entitlement, or purchase-transfer detail.
