Super Woden: Rally Edge lists independent controls for Race Music and Menu Music. Those controls are separate from Race SFX, Menu SFX, and the overall Master volume, so the documented audio layout is more detailed than a single music slider.
The available documentation confirms that race and menu music can be adjusted independently, but it does not establish one exact menu-navigation sequence for every version or platform. The safest answer is therefore: the separate controls are documented, while their precise location and behavior should be checked in the audio options of the version you are playing.

Which audio controls are documented?
PCGamingWiki’s audio table for Super Woden: Rally Edge lists five categories: Master, Race SFX, Race Music, Menu SFX, and Menu Music. This naming is important because it identifies two different music contexts rather than treating all music as one channel.
| Control | Audio context | What the listing establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Master | All game audio | A global volume control is listed. |
| Race SFX | Sound effects during races | Race effects have their own category. |
| Race Music | Music during races | Race music is independently listed. |
| Menu SFX | Sound effects in menus | Menu effects have their own category. |
| Menu Music | Music in menus | Menu music is independently listed. |
Because Race Music and Menu Music appear as distinct entries, lowering one should be possible without selecting the other. The same list also separates effects from music, so the documented design allows a player to change the balance between engine and interface sounds, music, and overall loudness.

What “separate music volume” means in practical terms
Lowering music during races
If the audio menu in your build exposes the documented labels, the Race Music control is the one to use when the soundtrack overpowers driving sounds. Adjusting that category is intended to affect music while racing, not the music heard on menus. It should also leave the independently listed race sound-effects category available for engine, tire, collision, and other race sounds.
The documentation does not publish a required slider scale, default value, or recommended percentage. Do not assume that a particular numerical position, such as 50 percent, is the same across versions. Use the preview or a short race to find a level that keeps driving cues audible.
Lowering music in menus
Menu Music is listed separately, so it is the relevant control when menu tracks are too loud while browsing the game. A change to this category is documented as distinct from Race Music; it is not merely another name for the same global music slider.
This distinction matters for players who want quiet menus but still want a stronger soundtrack during events, or who want the opposite balance. The available evidence supports the existence of the two categories, but it does not document whether a specific build remembers separate values after restarting the game.

Keeping sound effects audible
The listing separates Race SFX and Menu SFX from both music categories. If music is masking an engine or collision sound, changing a music control is more targeted than reducing Master. Conversely, if menu clicks or interface sounds are too prominent, Menu SFX is the category identified for that context.
Using the master control
Master is the broadest control in the documented set. It is appropriate when every game sound needs to be quieter, such as when changing from speakers to headphones or when the game is competing with another application. It is not the selective option: reducing it is expected to affect music and effects together.
How to find and test the controls in your copy
No source in the available documentation provides a verified, platform-specific button sequence such as “pause, open a named submenu, then select Audio.” Menu names can also change between a demo, a release build, and later updates. Use the following process as a verification method rather than as a claim about one fixed interface:
- Launch the game and open its settings or options area. Look for an audio, sound, or volume section. The evidence confirms the categories, not the exact label of the parent menu.
- Look for the five documented categories. In particular, check whether the screen shows Race Music and Menu Music separately. You may also see Race SFX, Menu SFX, and Master.
- Test menu music first. While remaining in a menu, make a small adjustment to Menu Music. Listen for a change in the menu track without changing the master level.
- Enter a race and test race music. Adjust Race Music by a small amount, then listen for the difference during gameplay. This avoids confusing a menu change with a race change.
- Check effects independently. If possible, trigger an ordinary interface sound and then a race sound effect. Use the corresponding SFX control rather than the music control when effects are the problem.
- Apply or save the settings if the interface requires it. The available sources do not state whether changes are immediate, confirmed with an Apply button, or saved automatically, so watch for the build’s own confirmation behavior.
- Recheck after restarting. If a value does not persist, record whether only one category reset or whether all audio values returned to defaults. That distinction helps identify a settings-saving issue without assuming a specific cause.
If your copy uses different wording, look for separate race/menu music and effects categories rather than relying on a single “music” label. If you cannot find those entries at all, note the platform, version, and whether you are playing a demo; the published evidence does not guarantee identical menus everywhere.

What the independent sources confirm
PCGamingWiki’s audio listing
The most specific evidence is PCGamingWiki’s feature table, which names “Master, Race SFX, Race Music, Menu SFX, Menu Music.” It is a category listing, not an official developer statement describing a particular interface path. It supports the precise answer that both race and menu music have their own documented controls.
SteamDB’s configuration information
SteamDB independently classifies the game with Custom Volume Controls. This corroborates that volume adjustment is a supported feature rather than an assumption based only on a player’s comment. SteamDB does not enumerate the individual sliders, so it cannot by itself prove the separate race/menu labels.
The Steam store listing
Steam identifies Super Woden: Rally Edge as a ViJuDa game released on January 15, 2026. That establishes the released game’s identity and date, but the store listing does not document the audio-menu layout or provide a universal set of navigation instructions.

Demo comments are useful context, not proof of the final mix
A Steam Community discussion about the 2025 demo included the comment, “You really have to turn down the music before you could even hear the car.” That is a player’s report about the demo’s balance, not an official specification and not a measurement of the January 2026 release.

ViJuDa replied on June 24, 2025 that some of the points deserved review and that other choices might reflect the developer’s vision. The exchange shows that music-versus-car audibility was discussed during development, and it explains why a player may remember turning down music in the demo. It does not establish that the released game uses the same defaults, mix, or menu arrangement.
Version and platform limits
The clearest evidence is associated with the PC/Steam release. SteamDB’s entry concerns the Steam configuration, and the Steam store page lists Windows system requirements. The available sources do not document an Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo interface, nor do they confirm that every future update will retain the same labels.
For that reason, do not treat a missing slider on another platform as evidence that the feature never existed, and do not assume that a PC menu path applies to a console port. Compare the labels and behavior in the specific build you own. A demo can also differ from the released version, as the dated community discussion illustrates.

Buying or downloading that soundtrack is therefore not a workaround for a missing in-game slider. To change what you hear while driving or navigating menus, use the game’s own audio settings. The documented controls concern playback inside the game, while the soundtrack download is an external collection of music files.
Common situations and the most targeted response
“I want quieter races but normal menus.”
Use Race Music, leaving Menu Music unchanged. Keep Master at its current level unless all game audio is too loud.
“The music is fine, but the car is hard to hear.”
Reduce Race Music first, then check Race SFX if the effects themselves need a different level. Lowering Master would reduce both categories and is less selective.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →“Only menu clicks are too loud.”
Adjust Menu SFX rather than either music category. The documented list treats menu effects and menu music as different channels.
“Changing one music slider changed everything.”
Confirm which control moved and whether the build also changed Master. If the labels are present but the result does not match them, test one category at a time in a quiet menu and then in a race. The published sources do not provide a technical explanation for a mismatch, so record the version and platform before treating it as a bug.
“I cannot find Race Music or Menu Music.”
Check whether you are in a demo, an early build, or a different platform, and look for an expanded audio screen rather than a basic volume page. Because no universal path is documented, the absence of a visible slider in one interface cannot be generalized to every release.
Answer
Super Woden: Rally Edge is documented as having separate Race Music and Menu Music controls, alongside separate race/menu sound-effects controls and a master volume. That supports lowering race music without necessarily lowering menu music or all game audio. The exact location, persistence behavior, and cross-platform availability are not established by the available sources, so verify the labels in the audio options for your specific version.
