No—not officially yet. As of October 17, 2026, the official publication listings confirm that Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 38 is forthcoming, but they do not confirm Naruto Uzumaki’s return. Chapter 37, “Trust,” is the latest released chapter, and Chapter 38 is scheduled for October 20, 2026 at 15:00. Promotional material exists, yet no official chapter listing or synopsis states that Naruto appears.
What has actually been released
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is the monthly sequel manga associated with Masashi Kishimoto and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto. MANGA Plus lists Chapter 37, titled “Trust,” as released on September 17, 2026. That is the newest chapter available in the official publication record reviewed for this update.

The Naruto Official Site is already promoting preview material for Chapter 38, and the collected Volume 9 is listed as having gone on sale October 2. Neither fact establishes a character appearance in the unreleased chapter.

The accessible official listings do not say that Naruto returns in Chapter 37 or Chapter 38. MANGA Plus’s published synopsis focuses on Boruto’s altered circumstances:

That synopsis sets the story’s conflict but does not name Naruto or promise his reappearance. Likewise, a promotional preview page can advertise an upcoming chapter without revealing or confirming every character shown in online discussion. Until Chapter 38 is released and its official content can be checked, “Naruto is back” is speculation rather than an established plot fact.
When Chapter 38 comes out
MANGA Plus schedules Chapter 38 for October 20, 2026 at 15:00. The listing treats the series as a monthly simulrelease, so the chapter is expected to appear through the official digital release schedule rather than as an early collected-volume chapter. The stated time is reproduced exactly as listed; the publication record does not identify a separate local-time conversion in the announcement.
Readers should use the chapter page on release day to verify the actual text and pages. A preview, retailer listing, fan translation, or social-media screenshot should not be treated as confirmation of Naruto’s status unless the official chapter itself shows or states it.

The official synopsis places Boruto in immediate danger after everyone’s memories have been altered. His own village is hunting him, and he has escaped with Sasuke. That premise explains why readers are looking for a major Naruto development, but it does not identify the form that development would take. Naruto could be discussed, referenced, or absent from a particular chapter; only the released pages can settle which occurs in Chapter 38.

- Check the chapter pages themselves, not only a preview image or headline.
- Distinguish a present-day appearance from a flashback, memory, dream, recorded message, or recap.
- Use the official chapter title and synopsis to confirm what the publisher has actually identified.
- If the chapter does not show Naruto, treat the return claim as unconfirmed rather than assuming a later appearance.
