What is Doki Doki AI Interrogation?
Released on May 24, 2024, Doki Doki AI Interrogation is a single-player adventure, casual, indie, and simulation game developed and published by YAMADA. You play an “excellent police officer” questioning an AI suspect in a murder case. The central idea is to type what you want to say rather than select only from a fixed set of dialogue choices.

How does the ChatGPT interrogation work?
According to the Steam description, the player chooses what to say and ChatGPT renders the suspect’s reply in real time. The game also describes an emotional circuit that affects the suspect’s heartbeat and desire to confess as discomfort rises. In practical terms, the advertised loop is to question the suspect, read the generated response, and decide how to continue the interrogation.

The available listing does not establish the model version, whether an account is required, or how the integration currently operates, so those details should not be assumed.
How long is it, and what should you expect?
YAMADA estimates 10–15 minutes to complete the short story. That is the publisher’s estimate, not a measured average or a guarantee for every player. The format is therefore closer to a brief interactive narrative than a long investigation campaign.

Buying it and the soundtrack
The evidenced purchase route is the digital Steam listing. At the time the listing was captured, it showed the game for $3.49, a game-plus-soundtrack bundle for $4.26, and soundtrack DLC for $0.99. Steam prices vary by region and can change, so check the current store page for the price where you live. The listing establishes downloadable soundtrack content, not a physical edition.
What to know about service availability
The ChatGPT connection is a meaningful caveat, not just a feature description. YAMADA warns that server load can affect gameplay and that changes to OpenAI’s ChatGPT services could lead to the game service being suspended or terminated without notice. The listing does not verify present uptime, so a purchase should not be treated as a guarantee that the AI interaction will remain available indefinitely.
