Know what the game does—and does not—tell you
Don’t Die: SurvivalAutoBattler is the Android game by HK Adma Tech Limited. Its Google Play listing describes recruiting heroes, combining class synergies, and preparing a formation for battle. It names five classes: Warriors, Mages, Hunters, Assassins, and Supports.

The listing does not give exact synergy thresholds, ranked matchup counters, current hero rankings, or a guaranteed composition. Those details can also change as the game updates. Use the current client’s descriptions and visible synergy indicators as your source of truth rather than relying on a fixed tier list or assumptions about what a class must do.
How to make stronger lineup decisions
Read a hero’s skill before recruiting or placing them
Check the skill text and role shown for each hero. Ask what the hero contributes to the formation and whether that contribution fits your other selections. Don’t infer a hero’s function from its name or class alone; the official listing does not document individual abilities, so the current in-game description is the useful guide.

Build around visible class synergies
The game explicitly encourages mixing the five classes to activate synergies. When comparing possible lineups, check which class combinations the interface recognizes and what it displays for them. Prefer a coherent combination with skills that work together over choosing units without considering class or role. The available published information does not establish which combination is strongest, or the exact number of heroes needed for any effect.
Choose for the mode you are playing
The listing advertises Twilight Ember PvE, which it describes as a source of rare progression materials, and a Ranked Ladder with global leaderboards. A lineup or experiment that suits PvE progression is not automatically the right choice for ranked results. Decide whether your immediate aim is to explore progression or compete on the ladder, and evaluate your choices in that context.

Use PvE to learn the systems
Twilight Ember is a sensible place to explore hero skills, formation choices, and the class combinations the client displays while pursuing progression materials. That is practical advice based on the mode’s advertised PvE role—not a developer promise that it is a dedicated practice mode or that a particular setup will succeed there.
After a battle, focus your next adjustment on a specific decision: a hero whose skill did not seem to fit, a class combination you want to try, or a formation choice. Changing one element at a time makes it easier to understand what affected the result than replacing the whole lineup at once.

Be cautious with player-posted mechanics and tier lists
An August 2026 Reddit post describes recruitment, leveling duplicates instead of deploying a new unit, raising a unit to level five, and having four lives. This is one player’s account, not an authoritative rules reference; mechanics may vary by version. Verify any of those details in your current game before building a plan around them.
There is no reliable published win-rate data or authoritative current balance guide establishing a best hero, counter, or lineup. Avoid treating an unsupported tier list or a single player’s result as proof. The Google Play listing showed an update date of 28 September 2026 when checked on 7 October 2026; later updates may change mechanics or balance.
