How to open the DOOM Eternal console
According to the DOOM Eternal Modding Wiki’s Commands page, the listed console commands are unlocked after running the Eternal Mod Injector. The page does not specify an injector version or tested game build, so access may depend on your setup.

- Run the Eternal Mod Injector.
- While playing on PC, press the grave-accent key (
`) on your keyboard to open the console. - Enter a command and press Enter.
- Press the grave-accent key again to close the console.
The wiki says opening the console does not pause the game. Be careful when typing or testing commands during active play.

Commands with an additional DLL requirement
The wiki says noclip and notarget require XINPUT1_3.dll in the game’s installation folder. Its page does not establish a trustworthy source for obtaining that DLL. Do not download it from an unverified site; the command descriptions alone do not verify that a particular DLL or installation method is safe.
What is officially supported—and what is not established
id Software’s mod community site says DOOM Eternal Mods are available on Steam and the Microsoft Store for PC, and that players do not need idStudio just to play supported mods. This confirms an official PC mod ecosystem, but it does not document these console commands, endorse the community wiki’s instructions, or confirm the same access on console editions.

Bethesda Support has a page titled “DOOM command console and Developer Mode” warning that activating a command can put “the entire game” into Developer Mode, flag campaign save progress as developer-only, and affect online play. The page does not clearly identify DOOM Eternal, so its warning cannot be treated as a verified Eternal-specific consequence. It advises moving saves elsewhere and temporarily turning off Steam Cloud saves during troubleshooting; consider that guidance only with the same scope uncertainty.
