To 100% complete Chapter 10, The Forsaken Plains, collect its gold, secrets, upgrades, Demonic Essences, Codex entries, toy and skin; finish all three Mission Challenges; and check the map before ending the mission. PowerPyx lists 21 collectible locations and 230 Gold for the chapter. If something is missing, the guide says you can return through chapter select.
What counts toward 100% in The Forsaken Plains?
PowerPyx’s chapter guide lists these targets. Its “21 collectible locations” figure describes locations, not 21 objects all labeled as collectibles in the game. Guides group items differently: PC Gamer, for example, calls out ten secrets and four collectibles, while also listing skins. Use the chapter’s own counters to check the categories you are pursuing.

Rocket Man
Damage at least five demons with a single Rocket Launcher shot, five times. The reward is 50 Gold. The Rocket Launcher becomes available after the first red combat encounter; look for dense groups of fodder demons to make each shot count.

Exterminator
Destroy two Gore Nests to earn the Reverent Pulverizer skin. Gore Nests appear in red combat encounters and can be destroyed with a Shield Charge. The first nest on the route also advances this challenge.
Fault Line
Affect 25 demons with the Ground Fissure Shield Rune; the reward is 50 Gold. Equip the rune and, when it is charged, parry green Hell Surge projectiles. Gameranx recommends using the attack near a group of fodder enemies so it can affect several at once.

Route through the key secrets and rewards
The guides provide sequential route descriptions, but the map branches. These landmarks help you collect easy-to-miss items and understand how the Secret Key opens later routes.
Get the first Secret before leaving the opening combat area
At the Rocket Launcher weapon pod, turn left to find a Life Sigil and Gold on raised pillars. Use shield movement to reach them before advancing. This is the first Secret, and it is easy to pass while following the main route.

Take the jump pad to the Cyber Demon toy
From the start of the main objective, go left past the Secret Key door and use the jump pad to reach the floating island. The Cyber Demon toy is there.
Find the Secret Key in the castle
Explore the castle on the left side of the map, climb to its upper level, then drop into the tower to get the purple Secret Key. Keep it for the purple doors elsewhere in the level.

Open the route to a Ruby and Gore Nest
Use the Secret Key on the locked door near the toy area, then clear the Gore Nest encounter. The barrier covering the Ruby drops after the encounter. Destroying this nest also counts toward Exterminator.
Search the cave rooms and spike-trap castle
Other Life Sigils and Rubies are tucked into cave rooms, the locked passage near the Hell Cannon arena, and the castle with falling spike traps. In the spike-trap castle, ride a falling spike platform upward to reach a Ruby. A player comment on PowerPyx advises collecting Ruby #3 before leaving that room because the trap may stop moving later; treat that as a precaution, not a confirmed universal behavior.
Best Value
Collect both Codex Entries
One Codex Entry is behind a purple-key door at the central castle. The other is along a raised path near a Sentinel Shrine.
Check the upper-right Hell Cannon area and final stretch
Look uphill from the upper-right Hell Cannon for the second Gore Nest. It is easy to miss; clearing the encounter advances Exterminator and yields the Ammo Demonic Essence. The Nightmare Cycler skin is in a nook near the Hell Cannon leader arena. PowerPyx places the Wraithstone after the later encounter, once you collect the Atlan Core.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why Chapter 10 may not show 100% complete
- A category counter is still short: compare the chapter counters with the category totals above. A guide’s location total may not map one-to-one to the game’s labels.
- A Secret or branch item is missing: revisit the opening Rocket Launcher area, the floating island, the purple-key doors, cave rooms and spike-trap castle; these sit off or beside the main route.
- Exterminator is incomplete: both Gore Nests count. Check the hill above the upper-right Hell Cannon as well as the nest near the toy-area route.
- A counter did not update after a checkpoint restart: PowerPyx warns that restarting after collecting the Armor Demonic Essence may respawn the miniboss, while defeating it again might not update the map or chapter reward counter. This is a guide-reported warning, not evidence that the issue affects every run.
PowerPyx says missed content can be collected later through chapter select. If a map or reward counter appears stuck after the Armor Essence checkpoint sequence, chapter select is the guide’s stated recovery route. A separate player comment reports a lift issue, but does not establish a general fix or consistent trigger.
