Bethesda’s pre-launch schedule set Premium Edition early access to start at 00:00 UTC on May 13, 2025. Bethesda described the benefit as access up to two days before launch. The time was published in UTC, so its local calendar date depended on the player’s time zone. Bethesda’s pre-launch checklist gives the timing.
This is a past launch window, not an upcoming early-access date. Premium Edition owners could also preload starting May 11, 2025, at 00:00 UTC, according to the same checklist.
When could everyone play?
The general release began at 00:00 UTC on May 15, 2025, for all available platforms. Bethesda published that time alongside the early-access schedule in its launch checklist.

Is DOOM: The Dark Ages on Game Pass?
Yes. Xbox’s current product listing says DOOM: The Dark Ages is included with Game Pass. Bethesda’s support information identifies Game Pass Ultimate, including PC Game Pass, among the subscription options. Check the live catalog for your location, device, and specific plan; the cited listings do not establish access on every Game Pass tier in every region.
Game Pass access and Premium Edition early access were different benefits. Game Pass subscribers could play from the general launch date; the early-access window was attached to the Premium Edition.
