The “+18 options” wording refers to the original FLiNG community list published on May 13, 2025—not a permanent limit. WeMod’s current listing shows 23 cheats, and both the number and names can change as the game and trainer are updated.

What the DOOM: The Dark Ages trainer is
The trainer is downloadable Windows software distributed through WeMod. It is designed to modify a running game session rather than replace the game or provide a separate version of it. You launch the game through the WeMod app, wait for the game to load, and then switch individual options on or off from the trainer interface.
WeMod’s game page presents entries for the Steam and Xbox versions of DOOM: The Dark Ages. That storefront labeling does not mean the Windows trainer runs on an Xbox console. The app is labeled Windows-only; the console editions themselves are not supported by installing this PC utility.

The listing currently shows a 4.7/5 rating from 38K reviews and 10K+ downloads, plus an 85MB Windows download size. Those are figures displayed by WeMod, not independent performance or safety measurements, and they can change.
Why the title says “+18 options”
FLiNG’s official WeMod community topic, posted May 13, 2025, documented the initial set of 18 toggles. A later discussion update mentioned a Game Speed cheat, and the live WeMod page now displays 23 cheats. Therefore, “18” is useful historical context: it identifies the original option set, while the live page is the authority for what is available for your installed build.
Do not assume that every historical toggle remains enabled, appears in the same order, or works on every game patch. WeMod says its application checks the installed game version and reports whether that version is supported.

The original 18 trainer options, explained
The table below reproduces the option names from the May 13, 2025 list and explains the practical effect implied by each label. Some are direct player modifiers; others affect vehicles, resources, or downloadable-content systems.

Resource editors are different from survival toggles: they change a displayed inventory quantity, while God Mode, health, armor, and shield options alter how damage is handled. Vehicle options likewise apply only while the corresponding mech or dragon gameplay is active. The DLC entries are relevant only to content and builds that include those systems.
What is on the current listing
WeMod’s current page displays 23 cheats rather than the original 18. In addition to options from the initial list, the page shows examples such as One-Hit Break Shields, Super Damage/One-Hit Kills, Damage Multiplier, and Game Speed. This is not a guarantee that every historical option or every named example will be present for your copy: the page can change, and the app filters support by game version.

If you need an exact, up-to-date inventory, open the live trainer page or the trainer panel after selecting your game. Treat any number in an article, video, or forum post—including 18 or 23—as date-sensitive.
How to use the trainer on Windows
- Install the Windows app. Download WeMod for Windows. The listing currently reports an 85MB download, but the file size may change with updates.
- Select DOOM: The Dark Ages in WeMod. Use the app’s game list and choose the installed title. The page identifies Steam and Xbox versions in its catalog; select the entry that matches your PC installation.
- Let the app check your build. WeMod detects the installed game version and indicates whether it is supported. If the app reports that your version is unsupported, do not expect toggles to work reliably; wait for a compatible trainer update or use the game without it.
- Launch the game through WeMod. The documented workflow is to open the game from inside the app rather than starting it separately.
- Load into gameplay. Reach a playable session or save, then open the WeMod overlay or trainer window according to the app’s current controls.
- Toggle only the options you need. Activate a cheat and test its effect in a safe area before combining it with other modifiers. Turn a toggle off from the same panel when you want the normal rule restored.
- Close the trainer cleanly. When finished, disable active options before leaving the game and exit both applications normally. If a toggle appears stuck, restart the game and check support status again.
The interface, hotkeys, and sign-in prompts can change between WeMod releases, so use the labels shown in your installed app rather than relying on an old screenshot.
Compatibility: Steam, Xbox labeling, and game versions
Compatibility is conditional, not universal. WeMod’s listing is for Windows and associates the title with Steam and Xbox editions in its catalog. The relevant question is whether your Windows installation matches a game build for which WeMod has a supported trainer. The app’s version-detection message is more useful than the storefront name alone.

Major patches, hotfixes, regional builds, and DLC changes can all affect support. A trainer that worked previously may show as unsupported after an update until WeMod publishes a compatible version.

The app says the game is unsupported
Confirm that the game is fully updated, close and reopen WeMod, and run its version check again. The message means the installed build is not currently identified as supported; it is not a promise that an older trainer will work anyway.

The toggle is visible but has no effect
Load a playable section rather than staying at the title screen, then toggle the option again. Some controls are context-specific: mech health applies during mech sequences, dragon health during dragon segments, and Chain Spear controls only where that DLC system is active. If the effect still does not appear, restart the game and retest with one option enabled at a time.

The game becomes unstable
Disable the most recently enabled option, save or exit if the game remains responsive, and restart. Avoid editing several inventory values simultaneously while a save is writing. Keep independent backups of important saves before experimenting with resource editors or speed changes.
An option from an old list is missing
Older screenshots and the 18-option post describe a historical set. The current trainer may rename, remove, regroup, or replace controls. Use the options shown for your selected game version rather than trying to force a missing entry.
Using the options responsibly
These toggles are best treated as a way to tailor a single-player session: testing encounters, bypassing a frustrating section, experimenting with movement speed, or checking how a weapon behaves without resource limits. Make a backup before changing gold, rubies, Wraithstones, Platinum, or Leader Essence Shards, because edited values may not match later game updates or cloud-save expectations.

Download the app only from the publisher’s official distribution page, keep Windows and the game patched, and scan files according to your normal security policy. The available sources do not provide an independent safety audit or an effectiveness study, so the 4.7/5 rating and 38K reviews should be read as WeMod’s page metrics rather than proof of universal reliability.
Is there a physical product to buy?
No trainer-specific physical product is established for this title. The documented item is downloadable Windows software, and the game is referenced through digital storefront versions.
