Candy Crush Saga is free to download and play, with advertising and optional in-app purchases. Use the official Microsoft Store listing on Windows 10 or 11, Google Play on Android, or the Apple App Store on iPhone and iPad. King has not verified a standalone direct APK download in the information available here, so avoid unofficial APK mirrors and modified “unlimited gold” packages. A Facebook browser version may work, but standalone play through King.com is not guaranteed.

Check the exact name Candy Crush Saga. Search results also contain Candy Crush Soda Saga, Candy Crush Jelly Saga, Candy Crush Friends Saga, clones and modified packages.
Download Candy Crush Saga on Windows
The current desktop route is the Microsoft Store. King Community guidance points to Windows 10 and Windows 11; do not rely on old Windows 7 requirements or screenshots. Open the live Store page to see the requirements for your particular PC.
- Open Microsoft Store in Windows.
- Search for Candy Crush Saga, or open the listing with product ID
9nblggh18846. - Confirm that King is shown as the publisher.
- Select Get, Install, or the equivalent button displayed by Microsoft.
- Launch the game from the Start menu.
- Sign in with the same King or Facebook account used on your phone if you want synchronized progress.
The Xbox/Microsoft catalog listing also identifies the game as free with optional in-game purchases.

If Microsoft Store will not install it
- Confirm that the PC runs Windows 10 or 11.
- Install pending Windows updates and restart.
- Sign in to Microsoft Store and retry the official listing.
- Check available storage, network access and any work or school device restrictions.
- If the Store still fails, use Facebook in a browser when available rather than downloading an unknown Windows installer.
Install Candy Crush Saga on Android
- Open Google Play.
- Search for Candy Crush Saga or use the official listing.
- Check that the developer is King and the package identifier is
com.king.candycrushsaga. - Tap Install, then open the game.
- Sign in to your King or Facebook account before switching devices or deleting the app.
Google Play labels the game free to play with ads and in-app purchases. Download counts, ratings, app size and compatibility can change by device, region and date, so treat the current Store page as authoritative.
When Android says “not compatible”
Check the Android version, free storage, Google Play certification, regional availability and whether a restricted account is being used. An old APK may be insecure, unsupported or unable to connect to King’s services; it is not a dependable compatibility fix.
Candy Crush Saga APK: what is safe?
An APK is the Android application package used for installing software outside Google Play. The normal and safest route is still Google Play. King’s published community guidance directs players there, and no verified official standalone APK download is established here.

If Google Play is unavailable, use only a source you can independently verify as King’s own distribution and understand that compatibility and update support may differ. Never pay a random site for the “official APK.” If you already installed a suspicious APK, uninstall it, run the device’s built-in security scan, change important passwords from a trusted device and reinstall from Google Play when possible.
Install Candy Crush Saga on iPhone or iPad
- Open the App Store.
- Search for Candy Crush Saga and confirm the developer is King.
- Check that it is the original Saga listing, not Soda, Jelly or Friends.
- Tap Get and authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID or your Apple ID password.
- Open the game and sign in if you need existing progress.
The U.S. App Store listing currently states a requirement of iOS/iPadOS 15.0 or later, is rated 13+ in that storefront, and includes advertising and in-app purchases. Requirements and ratings can vary by country and change over time. If your device cannot update, Apple may offer a previously downloaded compatible version through your purchase history; do not install a random IPA file.
Can you play Candy Crush Saga in a web browser?
Browser access is conditional rather than universal. Recent King Community guidance says Facebook may still offer a browser-based version, while the former standalone King.com experience is no longer reliably supported as a normal route. On Windows, the Microsoft Store app is the more dependable standalone option. Availability can depend on your Facebook account, region and service changes.

Do not confuse Candy Crush Saga with Candy Crushable, a separate browser-oriented game mentioned in King Community discussions. Visiting King.com alone is not a guarantee that the main Saga game will launch.
Keep progress when changing devices
Progress is tied to a supported King account or Facebook account, not merely to having the same email address in two different app stores.

- On the new device or Windows app, sign in with that exact same account.
- Verify that your levels and profile have loaded before deleting the old installation.
- Do not repeatedly uninstall and reinstall while troubleshooting; unsynchronized local progress can be lost.
If progress is missing, check that you did not sign into a different account or confuse a King login with Facebook. Then use the in-game help center or King Player Support; downloading another copy will not restore an account save.

Is Candy Crush Saga really free?
The base game can be installed and played without buying it. “Free” does not mean that every item is free: the storefronts identify advertising and optional in-app purchases for gold bars, boosters, extra moves, lives and event items. Gameplay can also use mobile data and device storage. On a child’s device, use the purchase restrictions and parental controls provided by Apple, Google or Microsoft.
A payment prompt for an optional item is normal. A website demanding payment for the base download, or selling a supposedly official APK, is not.
Safety checklist before installing
- Use Google Play, the Apple App Store or Microsoft Store, not a generic download portal.
- Verify the exact title and publisher King.
- Match the Android package, iOS App Store ID or Windows product ID when shown.
- Reject “unlimited gold,” “unlocked levels” and “no ads” modified packages.
- Keep the operating system and store app updated.
- Connect your King or Facebook account before reinstalling or moving to another device.
- Restrict in-app purchases if a child uses the device.

Does it work on Windows 7?
Current King guidance points to Windows 10/11 for the Store app. Windows 7 should not be treated as a supported route, and exact hardware requirements should be checked on the live Microsoft Store page.

Can I play without Google Play?
You may be able to use Facebook in a browser, depending on availability. Sideloading an APK from an unverified mirror is a security and compatibility risk, not an official workaround.
Why is the wrong Candy Crush appearing?
Confirm the complete title, developer King and the identifiers listed above. Soda, Jelly, Friends and Saga are separate games.
