What the gameplay reveal shows
BioWare’s June 11 journal describes a single-player, character-driven RPG in which you create Rook, choose a class and explore Thedas while gathering companions. The studio names three classes: Warrior, Mage and Rogue. It also highlights locations including Rivain, Weisshaupt, Arlathan, Minrathous and the Deep Roads.

Why the game is called The Veilguard
BioWare announced the title on June 6, 2024, and explained that the project had been refocused as a single-player experience after the studio explored several concepts, including multiplayer. The studio described the adventure as a standalone story in Thedas, led by a new hero and a cast of seven companions. Each companion has an individual storyline, and player decisions affect relationships and their lives.
How long is the trailer?
BioWare and EA advertised the reveal as more than 15 minutes of gameplay from the opening moments. That is a promotional description, not an exact runtime; the cited announcements do not state the video’s precise length. Check the YouTube player for its current runtime.
