Part 1: the Third Demon Realm
Part 1 takes players through the Third Demon Realm and its floating islands. Goku (Mini) fights with the Power Pole, and encounters include the Tamagami and Gendarmerie. Bandai Namco says the expansion includes original story material beyond what appears in the anime, including content involving Panzy’s Room. Read the Part 1 announcement.

Part 2: new fighters and Demon World battles
Part 2 brings playable Vegeta (Mini) and Goku (Super Saiyan 4), with battles across the First and Second Demon Worlds. Its named enemies include the Gendarmerie Tank and Gendarmerie Force, and the story includes a boss battle against Tamagami Number Two. Bandai Namco announced the expansion as available January 15, 2026. Read the Part 2 announcement.
What the Xenoverse 2 pack includes
The Dragon Ball DAIMA Pack is a character-and-customization-focused DLC release rather than the Kakarot story expansion. Along with Super Saiyan 4 Goku (DAIMA) and Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta, Bandai Namco lists costumes and accessories inspired by those characters, Panzy, and Glorio; Parallel Quests; player skills; Super Souls; and loading-screen illustrations. It was available May 22, 2025. Bandai Namco’s announcement separately identifies a free update and the paid Time Patrol Support Pack, so those should not be confused with the DAIMA Pack.

Platforms and purchase checks
Bandai Namco lists both games for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. For Kakarot, the Part 2 announcement also says the DLC is playable on Nintendo Switch 2. Check the current store for your region and platform before buying, since availability and listings can vary. These are digital DLC releases; owning or buying the base game does not, by itself, mean the DLC is included. The announcements do not establish current prices or retail stock.

- Choose Kakarot’s expansion if you want a DAIMA-themed story adventure, Demon Realm exploration, and battles built into Kakarot.
- Choose Xenoverse 2’s pack if you want DAIMA-inspired fighters, cosmetics, skills, and quests for Xenoverse 2.
The games have different DLC, so a purchase for one does not provide the content for the other. Bandai Namco also reported that Kakarot had sold 10 million units since launch in its January 15, 2026 announcement; that is the publisher’s reported milestone, not an independently audited figure.
