There is no verified, current move-by-move ranking that proves which DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO Ultimate is strongest. The clearest answer is to judge “best” by more than a damage number: look at damage in a consistent test, how reliably the attack lands, its range or tracking, and how well it works at the end of a combo. Bandai Namco’s official guide confirms that Special Attack raises Blast and Ultimate Blast strength, while its May 25, 2026 update notice says combo-hit damage from Blasts and Ultimate Blasts was reduced.
What “best Ultimate” means in Sparking! ZERO
Ultimates are a central part of the game’s combat spectacle; Bandai Namco describes them as “planet-razing ultimate attacks” on the official game page. But a spectacular animation or a familiar name does not by itself make an attack the strongest or most useful.

For a practical comparison, assess each Ultimate on four separate measures:
- Damage: Compare attacks under the same conditions, including the user’s stats and whether the Ultimate is used raw or after a combo.
- Reliability: Consider how often the attack connects against an opponent who can move or defend, rather than assuming a stationary target.
- Range and tracking: Account for how far away the target can be and whether the attack follows a moving opponent.
- Combo utility: Judge whether the move is a dependable ender after a combo, not just how much it does when launched alone.
These are useful comparison criteria, not a published Bandai Namco scoring system. The official sources available here do not provide verified damage values or a current move-by-move comparison, so they cannot support a definitive ranked list of the game’s best Ultimate attacks.

Why damage depends on stats and hit context
Special Attack affects Blast strength
Bandai Namco’s beginner guide says the Special Attack stat increases the strength of Blasts and Ultimate Blasts. That means a damage comparison can be misleading if characters or stat setups differ. To compare two moves fairly, keep the relevant setup consistent.
Combo hits have different balance context
In its May 25, 2026 update notice, Bandai Namco said it reduced damage when Blasts and Ultimate Blasts hit during a combo. A raw hit and a combo follow-up therefore should not be treated as interchangeable damage tests. The notice does not provide individual Ultimate damage figures.

Bandai Namco’s news listing also shows a September 2026 update notice, but the available listing does not expose its full notes. The May change should not be assumed to be the latest balance change relevant to Ultimate attacks; check the official news listing and the notes for your installed version before relying on a ranking.
Named attacks are examples, not proven winners
The Dragon Ball Official Site describes the game as recreating moves from the manga and names Goku’s Kamehameha and Vegeta’s Big Bang Attack as examples. That establishes them as recognizable attacks in the game, not as the strongest Ultimates. A move’s fame or visual impact is not evidence of its damage, tracking, or combo reliability.

Likewise, the July 2026 Super Limit-Breaking NEO announcements describe broader combat mechanics rather than ranking Ultimate attacks. The Chain Blast announcement says a player can switch in a reserve ally after sending an opponent flying and continue with a Blast. The Sparking Boost announcement describes spending a large amount of Skill Stock to temporarily reduce stats in exchange for an attack boost. Neither announcement establishes that a particular Ultimate is best.

- Pick a version. Record the game version and check its update notes, since balance changes can affect the result.
- Standardize the setup. Use the same relevant character stats and conditions for each attack. Special Attack affects Blast and Ultimate Blast strength.
- Separate raw and combo damage. Test a direct Ultimate separately from an Ultimate landed after a combo; the May 2026 update changed combo-hit Blast damage.
- Check practical landing conditions. Compare range, tracking, and whether the opponent can avoid the move. Do not infer reliability from a damage value alone.
- Record results without generalizing beyond the test. State the version, setup, and conditions alongside any figures. A result from one setup is not a universal ranking.
No individual Ultimate damage figures or authoritative current rankings are established by the official sources cited here. Community-posted tables may offer leads, but without verification they should not be presented as confirmed values.
