It launched worldwide on October 11, 2024, and its published minimum requirements call for Windows 10 64-bit, 8 GB of RAM, DirectX 12 and a GTX 980-, RX 590- or Intel Arc A750-class graphics card. Those are vendor estimates, not a guarantee of how the game will perform on a particular PC.
What is DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO?
Developed by Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO is a 3D fighting action game in the Budokai Tenkaichi lineage. Bandai Namco described it as the first entry in the DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI series in 15 years when it announced the worldwide release on October 11, 2024. The Windows version is distributed through Steam. Bandai Namco’s launch announcement identified PC via Steam among the platforms.
The Steam listing advertises more than 180 fighters in the base game, drawing from Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball GT and selected Dragon Ball movies. Compare your PC with the specifications below. Steam and Bandai Namco label the minimum estimate as 1080p at 60 fps on Low and the recommended estimate as 1080p at 60 fps on High. The storefront warns that frame rate may drop in graphics-intensive scenes, so these estimates should not be read as a performance guarantee or as measured results for every configuration. Steam further specifies Windows 10 version 1809 or later and a GPU with 4 GB of VRAM for the DirectX 12 API. A machine that falls short of a listed part, or uses unlisted hardware, cannot be judged reliably from these requirements alone. Check the live Steam page before buying because storefront specifications can change.
Which edition or DLC should you choose?
The launch lineup and the current store bundles are not identical. Bandai Namco listed Standard, Deluxe, Premium Collector and Digital Ultimate editions at launch in 2024. Current official listings also describe Super Limit-Breaking NEO and Legendary bundles. What Super Limit-Breaking NEO adds
Bandai Namco announced that Super Limit-Breaking NEO became available for PC via Steam on July 30, 2026. The publisher says the DLC adds four Episode Battles, additional Extra Battles, four stages, the Solo Mode Limit Breaker Journey and 33 playable characters from Dragon Ball, Z, Super and GT. In Limit Breaker Journey, players choose a character, strengthen them through battles and customize progression. These are publisher-stated features rather than an independent assessment. How to decide whether your PC is a match
Use the requirements as a checklist rather than a promise of a particular frame rate:
- Operating system: Confirm you have a 64-bit Windows version listed for the tier you are comparing against; for minimum, Steam specifies Windows 10 version 1809 or later.
- CPU and graphics: Compare your exact processor and graphics card with the named models. Similar-sounding product names do not establish equivalent performance.
- RAM and storage: Check available system memory and keep 29 GB of free storage for the game.
- DirectX and VRAM: The listing requires DirectX 12 and specifies a 4 GB VRAM GPU for the DirectX 12 API.
Meeting the minimum is the publisher’s baseline estimate for 1080p/60 fps at Low, not evidence that every scene will sustain that rate. The published table does not establish expected performance for hardware it does not list.
