Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 – DB Super Pack 1 is the game’s first paid DLC pack. It adds Cabba and Frost as playable characters, Hit as a teacher, three Parallel Quests, moves, customization items and more. It was originally made available on December 20, 2016; buyers need to check their platform and existing game or bundle entitlements before purchasing.

Nintendo’s listing likewise names Cabba and Frost, Hit as a teacher, three Parallel Quests, five Special or Ultimate Moves, two outfit or accessory sets, five Super Souls, and assorted emotions, nicknames and more. What is paid DLC, and what came in the free update?
Super Pack 1 is paid content. Bandai Namco’s November 2016 preview also described a free update alongside the pack, with separate additions such as skills, costumes, attacks, an event, a raid quest and teachers. Those update items should not be treated as part of the paid pack’s itemized contents. Bandai Namco announced that the update and first paid pack would be available December 20, 2016. Which platforms and purchase options apply?
Availability and purchase routes depend on the platform. The Nintendo listing identifies this as digital add-on content for Nintendo Switch and says the base game, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, is required. It can be purchased individually or with the Super Pass. The PlayStation listing identifies PS4 and PS5. Bandai Namco describes the original Super Pass as access to four separately sold content packs, so check your account’s entitlements and the current platform listing rather than assuming a bundle or edition includes this pack. For Switch, make sure you own the required base game as well as the add-on: buying the base game alone does not grant Super Pack 1. Confirm that the listing matches your platform and that you have not already acquired the pack through the Super Pass before checkout.

Why do listings show different release dates?
Bandai Namco announced the pack’s original availability on December 20, 2016, with the statement, “The first DLC Pack for Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2 is available today!” The Nintendo Switch store listing gives September 22, 2017 as the release date for its Switch listing. How much does Super Pack 1 cost?
The US PlayStation Store displayed $9.99 for the pack at the time its listing was checked. That is a US storefront snapshot, not a current or universal price; check your own store for today’s price, regional availability and purchase options. US PlayStation Store listing

Is Super Pack 1 worth choosing for your play style?
The pack’s clearest draw is its specific content: Cabba and Frost, Hit as a teacher, and the included quests, moves and customization items. If those are what you want, compare buying the individual pack with any Super Pass entitlement on your platform. If you mainly want free-update additions, those were described separately from this paid DLC, so the pack is not the same purchase as the update.
