Bandai Namco says it is set in AGE 1000, includes West City, and is planned for release in 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
What is the new Dragon Ball game called?
“AGE 1000” was the project label used when Bandai Namco first announced the game. At Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026, the publisher revealed its official title: DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3, the latest entry in the Xenoverse series. Bandai Namco’s initial AGE 1000 announcement introduced a new world and a previously unseen character designed by Akira Toriyama; that credit refers to the character, not development of the entire game.
