To equip multiple weapons as a Warfarer in Dragon’s Dogma 2, assign the Rearmament skill to a Warfarer skill slot, equip the weapons you want from the Equipment menu, then activate Rearmament to cycle between them. The game’s controls can be remapped, so check your own Button Mapping screen for the input.
Set up Warfarer and Rearmament
- Switch to the Warfarer vocation. Capcom describes Warfarers as wielding a variety of weapons. Vocation changes are available at a vocation guild, and vocations unlock as the story progresses. See Capcom’s Vocations manual.
- Assign Rearmament to a Warfarer skill slot. A March 28, 2024 accepted answer in the Steam Community discussion about switching Warfarer weapons advises assigning this skill before equipping the weapon sets. Capcom’s manual pages do not explain Rearmament’s operation, so this step is community-corroborated rather than documented in the cited official instructions.
Equip the weapons you want to cycle through
- Open the Pause Menu and select Equipment. Capcom identifies this as the menu for equipping or removing gear; which equipment is allowed depends on your active vocation. See Items and Equipment.
- Equip the weapons you want available. The community guidance recommends equipping them in the order you want to cycle through.
- Activate Rearmament to switch between the equipped weapons.
Find the Rearmament input on your setup
There is no single input to quote for every player from the available instructions. Capcom’s PS5 manual says its listed controls are defaults and can be changed under Pause Menu > Options > Controls > Button Mapping. Check that screen in your game for the Rearmament binding; a PC or Xbox layout may differ from the PS5 defaults. See Capcom’s Controls manual.

Plan the weapon order and skill slots
Choose combinations around the combat roles you want covered and arrange them in the order that feels useful to you. Rearmament uses a Warfarer skill slot, so weigh the convenience of switching weapons against the other skills you want equipped. The cited instructions do not establish a universal best combination or a numeric maximum number of weapons, so treat the setup as a personal configuration rather than a fixed build.
