Gehe in die Safari-Zone und angle dort mit der Superangel. Dratini ist laut Serebii in den Bereichen 1, 2, 3 sowie im Center zu finden. Es ist eine Angelbegegnung – suche also nicht im Gras nach ihm.

Wie häufig ist Dratini?
Serebii gibt für Dratini beim Angeln in Feuerrots Safari-Zone eine Begegnungsrate von 15 % und ein Level von 15 bis 25 an. Die 15 % beschreiben, wie oft Dratini als Begegnung auftaucht; sie sind nicht die Chance, es mit einem Safari-Ball zu fangen. Du kannst daher mehrere Angelversuche benötigen.
Beim Angeln kann außerdem Dragonair auftauchen. Serebii listet es mit einer Begegnungsrate von 1 % auf Level 25 bis 35 – es ist somit deutlich seltener als Dratini.

Welche Regeln gelten in der Safari-Zone?
Der Eintritt kostet 500 Pokédollar. Du erhältst 30 Safari-Bälle; dein Besuch endet, sobald sie aufgebraucht sind oder du 600 Schritte gegangen bist. Diese Regeln nennt Bulbapedia.
Du kannst wilde Safari-Pokémon nicht zuerst mit deinem eigenen Team schwächen. Der Fangversuch findet daher ohne diesen üblichen Vorbereitungsschritt statt.

Kannst du Dratini bekommen, ohne in der Safari-Zone zu fangen?
Ja. In der Spielhalle (Rocket Game Corner) in Prismania City kannst du Dratini für 2.800 Münzen eintauschen, wie Bulbapedia aufführt. Das ist eine Alternative, wenn du den Safari-Fangversuch vermeiden möchtest; dafür musst du die Münzen sammeln oder erwerben.

Eine garantierte Fangmethode, die Dratinis Flucht verhindert, ist nicht belegt. Auch lässt sich aus den verfügbaren Angaben keine eindeutig optimale Abfolge aus Köder, Steinen und Safari-Bällen ableiten. Verlass dich deshalb nicht auf eine bestimmte Sequenz als sichere Lösung.
