There are two different games called Dream Escape. The Android game is a puzzle-and-escape title about an inherited house and recurring dreams. If a video or text guide does not state its platform and developer, treat its room names and codes as unverified. A guide for the Steam release can easily be mistaken for an Android solution because the title is identical.

- Check where you installed it. An Android installation points to the Google Play listing; a PC copy launched through Steam points to the other title.
- Read the developer line. The Android listing names HONG KONG PINYOU TECHNOLOGY LIMITED. The Steam listing names np_conpany.
- Match the premise. An inherited house and recurring-dream story indicates the Android game. Six first-person horror scenarios indicate the Steam game.
- Compare the controls. The Steam description lists keyboard-and-mouse controls. An Android play session should use the device’s touch interface rather than those PC keys.
- Save a screenshot of the title screen or store page. Include it when asking for a puzzle solution; the exact room image is more useful than the title alone.
The update or release date is another useful check. Google Play shows December 18, 2025 for the Android listing, while Steam gives March 14, 2024 for the PC game. Dates identify the listing; they do not prove that a third-party walkthrough is current.

Steam Dream Escape: what the listing confirms
The Steam game is described as a first-person horror chamber escape. Its stated goal is to find the last door and leave each dream. The store description names six scenarios:
- Secret Chamber
- Alien Academy
- Quiet Basement

- An abandoned hospital tunnel
Those names establish the scenario selection, but they do not reveal a keypad code, item combination, enemy route or scripted sequence. - Make a complete first pass. Walk the perimeter of the chamber, looking at doors, panels, shelves, writing, unusual lighting and objects that differ from the surrounding scene. Do not spend several minutes guessing a code before you know which objects are interactive.
- Record observations exactly. Write down symbols in their order, colors, numbers, directional marks and words. A photograph or screenshot prevents a near-match from becoming a false solution.
- Separate clues from decoration. A clue normally has a repeated pattern, an unusual placement or a clear relationship to a lock or mechanism. If a mark has no visible connection to anything, keep it in your notes but do not force it into a combination.
- Test one variable at a time. When a panel accepts input, change only one symbol, button or direction and observe the response. This tells you whether the device is a sequence, a toggle, a timing action or something else.

- Search for the final exit. The stated objective is to find the last door and leave the dream. Once the room appears solved, scan for a newly opened doorway or exit rather than waiting for an unlisted victory prompt.
Because the listing does not publish puzzle answers, a correct solution has to come from the clues in your particular room. If a supposed code fails, verify that the guide names the same scenario, platform and game version before trying random alternatives.
Scenario-specific expectations without invented answers
Secret Chamber: The name alone does not identify its lock type or sequence. Map every visible compartment and note which one changes after an interaction.

Dark Community: Low visibility can make ordinary objects look significant. Adjust your display or in-game brightness only if available, and re-check the room methodically rather than relying on a video recorded with different settings.
Fright Morgue: Horror presentation can distract from small markings. Pause after each scare sequence and record the room state before moving on.
Abandoned hospital tunnel: The listing provides the location description but no map or route. Mark junctions as you travel so that a locked branch and the eventual exit are not confused.

- A screenshot of the entire puzzle, including nearby symbols and the lock or door
- The last action you completed and what changed afterward

Ask for one puzzle at a time. “How do I escape?” is ambiguous; “Steam, np_conpany, Alien Academy, the four-symbol panel beside the locked door” identifies a solvable problem. If you want to avoid spoilers, request a hint in stages: observation, relationship between clues, then the final input.
Common walkthrough mistakes and fixes
Using a Steam guide on Android
Symptom: The guide mentions Secret Chamber or Alien Academy, but your game shows an inherited house and recurring dreams. Fix: Stop and return to the platform/developer check. These are different listings.
Trusting a code without the room context
