Position Is Everything reported on May 20, 2026, that Dress To Impress replaced a Hotdog outfit with a Cupcake outfit, citing “safety reasons.” The report does not include a detailed explanation or a named developer statement, so the specific reason—and whether the change is currently live—has not been independently established.
What happened to the Hotdog outfit?
Position Is Everything says the Hotdog outfit was removed and a Cupcake outfit took its place. The article describes this as a cosmetic swap rather than a change to rounds or the game’s dress-up loop. Those details come from that report and have not been independently verified. Read the Position Is Everything report.
| Reported detail | What the source says |
|---|---|
| Earlier item | Hotdog outfit |
| Replacement | Cupcake outfit |
| Reported reason | “Safety reasons,” without a detailed explanation or named developer statement |
| Gameplay effect | Described as cosmetic, with core systems unaffected; not independently verified |
Why was the Hotdog outfit reportedly removed?
The report gives “safety reasons” as the rationale, but it does not identify the specific concern or attribute that wording to a named developer. It does not establish whether the issue involved moderation, misuse, or something else. Possible explanations discussed in the report are speculation, not confirmed causes.
Can players still use the old Hotdog outfit?
Current in-game availability has not been verified. The report says the Hotdog outfit was replaced, but that alone does not establish whether players who previously had it can still equip it or whether the Cupcake outfit is available to everyone now.
