The publisher, Hong Kong Spiral Rising Technology, announced an October 28, 2025 global release and confirmed on launch day that service had started. Its Japanese-language notice gave an 11:00 a.m. start in Japan, while the App Store listing specified 10:00 a.m. UTC+8 for the global launch. Those times describe the same date in their respective time references.
Steam’s store page lists January 19, 2026. That is Steam’s storefront release date, not a replacement for the October 2025 global service launch announced for PC and mobile.

Publisher materials describe Duet Night Abyss as an action RPG set in a world where magic and machinery coexist. Its story follows two protagonists from different perspectives. Combat combines flexible weapon loadouts with 360-degree action, letting players use melee and ranged weapons.
Is Duet Night Abyss free to play?
The publisher describes the game as free-to-play with some in-app purchases. Its version 1.0 announcement said character and weapon rarity systems and stamina restrictions had been removed. Characters can be earned through gameplay, while weapons can be obtained through crafting.
