Which Dark Alliance game is this?
This is the 2021 Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance, announced by Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast as a Forgotten Realms action role-playing game developed by Tuque Games. It is not one of the earlier Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance games. Wizards’ March 2021 announcement named the four central heroes: Drizzt Do’Urden, Catti-brie, Bruenor, and Wulfgar. Hasbro’s announcement set the launch date as June 22, 2021.

What kind of game is it?
Wizards describes a hero-based action game set in Icewind Dale. Players fight monsters in real time, explore the region, take on bosses, earn gear, and unlock abilities. The publisher’s game overview presents it as a co-op adventure rather than a tabletop-style rules simulator.
How do missions and co-op work?
Online play supports parties of up to four: you can matchmake with as many as three random players or create a custom game and invite up to three friends. The multiplayer support page says enemies become tougher based on party size. Gear drops are individual, while gold and materials are shared; mission rewards arrive after successful completion. Platforms and cross-play limits
The last official supported-platforms list found, updated January 7, 2022, names Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Steam, and Windows 10. That historical list is not confirmation of current store availability. Wizards’ compatibility guidance says Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows 10 players can play together. It explicitly says cross-generation play between PS4 and PS5 is not supported; the listed compatibility should not be read as universal cross-play. Language support
The support page, last updated May 31, 2022, lists interface and subtitles in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Simplified Chinese. Audio is listed in English and French. Check the platform’s current listing for confirmation before purchase, since the support information is dated.

Can you still buy or play it online?
The official materials cited here do not establish current store availability or live server status. Wizards’ June 2021 launch announcement said the game was then available on Steam, PlayStation, Windows 10, and Xbox, including Xbox Game Pass; that is a historical launch statement, not proof of present access. A community repost claiming sales and servers would end on February 24, 2025 is not confirmed by the official support material, so it should not be treated as fact. Check the relevant platform store and official publisher notices before relying on a purchase or online play.

Hasbro’s March 2021 announcement described a Steelbook edition with a Steelbook case, printed art book, downloadable Dungeons & Dragons soundtrack, Beholder and Lich weapon set, and the planned Echoes of the Blood War expansion. This documents what was announced at the time, not current stock, platform-specific packaging, or whether any included content can still be redeemed. A Wizards DLC support page updated June 29, 2022 still calls the expansion upcoming, so it does not establish present DLC status: DLC support information.
