Complete Dust on the Wires in one Spaceport run by visiting an eastern Field Depot, sending the scout group’s last log, using the terminal atop the old Raider Tower, transmitting the patrol traces near Maintenance Hangar, and collecting the Scout Patrol Note from nearby remains. Then extract and give the note to Shani in Speranza.
Recommended route at a glance
- Start at either eastern Field Depot. The southern depot is a convenient choice if it suits your drop point; neither depot is mandatory.
- Use the Field Radio on the desk to send the scout group’s last log to Shani.
- Go to the old Raider Tower north or northwest of Maintenance Hangar and interact with the terminal at its top.
- Head to the southwest side of Maintenance Hangar and transmit the location of the scout patrol traces.
- Search the nearby patrol remains and pick up the Scout Patrol Note.
- Extract, return to Speranza, and speak with Shani to deliver the note.
Use the in-game map and the named landmarks to orient yourself: guides agree on the objective order and general locations, but do not establish exact map coordinates.
1. Send the scout group’s last log from a Field Depot
Go to one of the two Field Depots on the eastern side of Spaceport. They are recognizable by an antenna or satellite structure on the roof. Enter the building and use the marked Field Radio or terminal on the desk to send the scout group’s last log to Shani.
Either eastern depot works. The southern one is a convenient route option because it is closer to the next objective, but it is not a quest requirement.

2. Resend the log from the old Raider Tower
Find the old Raider Tower north or northwest of Maintenance Hangar, using the hangar as your landmark and the in-game map to confirm your approach. Climb to the top and interact with the terminal there to resend the log.
3. Transmit the patrol traces and collect the note
From the tower, make your way to the southwest side of Maintenance Hangar. Look for the scout traces and use the on-screen prompt to transmit their location. The patrol remains are nearby; search them and pick up the Scout Patrol Note.

If your equipped augment provides a safe pocket, place the note there before continuing. This helps protect the quest item if you are eliminated before extracting.
4. Extract and deliver the note to Shani
Once you have the note, extract from Spaceport. In Speranza, speak with Shani to hand it in and complete the quest. The objectives are intended to be completed in one run, so do not leave Spaceport before collecting the note.
