Yes. Dying Light: The Beast added New Game+ and Legend Levels in Update 1.4, whose live notice Techland modified on November 27, 2025. They serve different purposes: New Game+ lets you replay Kyle’s story with your gear and character progression while raising the challenge; Legend Levels add progression after you reach Level 15.
What New Game+ carries over
New Game+ keeps the gear, weapons, and character progression from your first playthrough, so you can begin Kyle’s story again without starting your build from scratch. Techland says enemies become more difficult, with higher-tier weapons and loot available to meet the challenge.
You can complete multiple New Game+ runs. Each completed run raises the difficulty further and opens access to stronger, rarer weapons and the toughest enemies in Castor Woods. It is a replay-and-challenge loop, rather than a competing progression system: your existing character carries forward as the world becomes harder.

How Legend Levels work
Level 15 starts the system
Once you reach Level 15, earned XP converts into Legend XP. Higher difficulty settings and higher New Game+ tiers increase XP gains, according to Techland.
Spend Legend Points on passive upgrades
Each Legend Level grants Legend Points to spend on passive upgrades, including health, combat stats, and Beast Mode performance. Techland also says each level increases maximum health by a fixed percentage; its support page does not specify that percentage in the cited description.
Rewards include weapons, outfits, and vehicle skins
Techland lists 22 new melee and firearm weapons, including vintage guns; two complete outfits comprising 12 gear pieces; and legendary vehicle skins among the Legend Level unlocks. See Techland Support’s Legend Levels description, modified November 27, 2025, for its feature details.

The phrase refers to the Update 1.4 launch, not to Update 1.4 being the newest version. Techland’s Update 1.4 live notice was modified November 27, 2025. Techland Support also lists Update 1.7 as released; that notice alone does not establish which specific changes it contains.

In a March 26, 2026 announcement, Techland said the Restored Land Edition includes the base game, new content, and previously released updates and improvements, including New Game+ and Legend Levels. The same announcement says Standard Edition owners automatically receive a free upgrade to Restored Land Edition, so existing owners do not need to repurchase the game to receive that edition upgrade.
