It also launched a limited-time accuracy challenge; a PUBG MOBILE crossover quest followed on October 31.
When did the October update release?
Techland released Patch 1.3 on October 30, 2025. The official notes list PC, Xbox and PlayStation, but do not specify platform-by-platform rollout timing or a build number. Techland’s Patch 1.3 notes cover the update.
What did Patch 1.3 add?
Some human enemies can surrender
Human enemies carrying melee weapons may recognize when the player aims a firearm at them and surrender. Techland says the player’s actions can lead to different outcomes; the notes do not specify every possible outcome or the conditions that determine them.
Nine weapon executions
The update added nine executions across one-handed blades, long blunt weapons, long blades, two-handed blunt and bladed weapons, knives, and knuckledusters.

What limited-time events were included?
Call of the Beast: “Sharpshooter”
Week 3 of Call of the Beast ran from October 30 at 4 p.m. CET through November 6, 2025 at 4 p.m. CET. Techland set two community goals: 10,000,000 accurate shots for The Marksman reward and 20,000,000 for Bullseye. An accurate shot was defined as a firearm shot that hits an enemy; flamethrowers, bows and crossbows did not count.
PUBG MOBILE crossover quest
The crossover quest ran from October 31 through November 21, 2025. Players could activate it on the Outpost event page to add the Airdrop Finder car skin. After completing the main story mission “Power Gambit,” they could unlock the Skillet quest. Listed themed rewards included the Killing Pan, Battle Royale Bat, Marked Man outfit, gear items and Battleground Keychain charm.
What fixes and balance changes did the update include?
The patch notes list fixes and adjustments across quests, co-op, combat, performance, visuals, interface and audio. Highlights include:
- Quest blockers and co-op respawn behavior.
- Volatile and Suicider behavior, as well as NPC duplication.
- Crashes, stability and co-op performance.
- Visual and texture issues, plus 4K UI responsiveness.
- Audio and subtitle synchronization, and crafting or inventory inconsistencies.
- More oxidizer loot, lower wiring costs and revised vendor stock of crafting parts.
How did Patch 1.3 fit the October roadmap?
Techland’s October 16, 2025 roadmap previewed an 11-week post-launch slate, including New Game+, Legend Levels, Nightmare Difficulty, executions, visual and quality-of-life improvements, PC ray tracing and the PUBG MOBILE collaboration. That roadmap described planned content, not a list of features all delivered in Patch 1.3. Techland’s official news archive places the patch after the roadmap and before later updates.
