Power Gambit starts at Town Hall and ends when you return to the Sheriff after restoring power at the plant and surviving Largo’s betrayal. The route’s trickiest objectives are the two underwater valves and the valve wrench hidden in Section A. Follow the objectives in order below; the route and rewards are reported by the Episode 6 guide and the timestamped walkthrough.
Get to the foreman
- Start the mission at Town Hall, then travel to the power plant.
- Clear or bypass the infected around the compound. To reach the foreman on a rooftop, climb the shorter nearby building and traverse the exterior ledges.
- Speak with the foreman and follow the objective markers toward the main plant building beside the water.
Enter the plant and reach the turbine room
- Use the window and ledges to enter the main building. If you need to recover your route, use the ladder path described in the objective guide.
- Unlock the way toward the turbine room, then use the ventilation opening to continue through the infected areas.
- Expect Bombers during the turbine sequence. Keep your distance rather than fighting them at close range.
Close the two underwater valves
The flooded lower turbine area requires you to close two valves underwater. Follow the objective markers to locate them. Surface at the air pockets along the route between dives so you can refill your breath before continuing.
Restore power and repair the feed pipe
- Once both valves are closed, return to shore and go to the control room. The control panel has no power, so complete the objective to restore backup power.
- Proceed to Section C and inspect the feed pipe. The repair requires a valve wrench.
- Return to Section A and enter the storage room through its ventilation opening. Take the valve wrench.
- Go back to the red pipe and repair it with the wrench, then operate the terminal again to restore power.
Survive Largo’s betrayal and finish the mission
When the power returns, Largo betrays you and the Baron’s soldiers attack. Use Beast Mode when it is available and prioritize armed soldiers. Watch your positioning when Beast Mode ends; the guide notes that the power can be restarted from the control room if it goes out again.
- Clear the soldiers and restart the power from the control room if necessary.
- Return to Town Hall and report to the Sheriff to complete Power Gambit.
Reported mission rewards
The Episode 6 guide lists Survivor Reinforced Jeans, 10,200 XP, and 500 Old World Currency as rewards, plus a Co-op Loot Box for co-op completion. These are guide-reported rewards, not an official reward listing; check the in-game reward screen if the exact current rewards matter.
