After delivering the papers to Lydia, investigate the crashed vehicle and follow Camillo’s trail to a nearby house to finish the mission. This walkthrough follows the routes described by Neoseeker and the Episode 12 guide; optional loot and room details may vary by route.
How to enter the school
Meet Ray near the school. He warns that the main entrance is watched, so use the upper-window approach instead. Neoseeker’s route starts at the bus stop and uses exterior units to climb up to an open window. Enter through it and descend into the school.
The guides focus on the upper window, but the exact exterior path can differ. Avoid the watched main entrance if you want to follow the recommended infiltration route.
Move down through the infected floors
Work downward through the school toward the gym. Expect infected, including sleepers and Screamers. Stealth is a useful option: use Survivor Sense to check nearby threats, move around sleeping infected where possible, and avoid triggering alerts. If you choose to fight, be prepared for noise to draw attention.

Side rooms and loot are optional; the mission’s objective is to reach the gym outpost and gather the research. The guides describe multiple floors and room-by-room routes, but not every detour is required.
Open the Level 0 safe
The reported safe code is 5-40-90. The Episode 12 guide says the digits are written in binary on a whiteboard in the Level 0 office. Enter the code at the safe; if it does not work in your game, check the whiteboard and current objective rather than relying on a guide-reported code that may be affected by an update.

Collect the research and find Camillo
At the gym outpost, search for the quest research. A Steam Community guide lists five quest findings:
- Dr. Alper’s Letter on Research Progress
- Notes on Heliostrin
- Three Research Report (Project Symphateia) items
Use Survivor Sense to help locate the papers. Neoseeker describes a locked room that triggers Camillo’s scene. Find the room, deal with the immediate threats, and help Camillo before continuing to the archive research.

Escape the school and deliver the papers
Once you have helped Camillo and retrieved the archive material, make your way out of the school. The guides describe a clash involving soldiers and scavengers during the escape, so be ready to fight or move through the conflict as the situation allows. Return the research to Lydia to advance the mission.
Investigate the crash and follow Camillo’s trail
The objective continues after the delivery. Investigate the crashed vehicle, then follow the trail to a nearby house. Reaching the house triggers the concluding scene and completes the “School’s Out” sequence.

Guide-reported rewards
The Episode 12 guide and Neoseeker agree on six revolver rounds, 12,500 XP, and 800 units of in-game currency. They describe the revolver differently, so its exact label is not settled by these guides.
