For Team Builder, its headline addition was optional Adobe Express integration: users could create or generate a logo in Express, then bring it back into Team Builder for custom team assets. The patch also covered gameplay, Dynasty, College Ultimate Team, Road to Glory, presentation, and player updates, so this is a historical update—not a new 2026 release.
What did the College Football 25 Team Builder update add?
The October 24 update added an optional Adobe Express workflow to Team Builder’s logos page. EA described the integration as a way to create a logo with Express or design from scratch, save it, and return the image to Team Builder. EA’s official update notes say the images could be applied to custom layers on uniforms, stadiums, and other team assets.

Adobe Express was an added option, not a requirement for making a custom team. The existing Team Builder tool also offered substantial customization of branding, logos, uniforms, stadiums, programs, and rosters. In its College Football 25 Team Builder deep dive, EA listed five options each for helmets, jerseys, pants, and socks, and described 625 uniform combinations.
How to use Adobe Express for a custom logo
- Open Team Builder’s logos page. Choose “Create with Adobe Express” to start the optional Express workflow.
- Sign in or create an Adobe account. EA’s notes say an internet connection, an EA account, and an Adobe account are required for this integration.
- Create the design in Express. EA said users could use up to 25 credits toward logo generation or create a design from scratch with Express elements. The credit figure describes the update’s stated allowance; it does not mean all Express features or a paid subscription were included.
- Save the image and return to Team Builder. Bring the saved result back to the logos page, then apply it to custom layers for team assets.
You can instead use Team Builder’s other logo and customization options. EA’s update notes establish the Express handoff workflow, but do not establish the relative quality, cost, or ease of the different design approaches.

How to import a Team Builder team into Dynasty
For College Football 25, EA’s launch-era instructions limited custom-team imports to a private cloud Dynasty. A commissioner imports the teams when starting a new league, at the beginning of a season; the limit was up to 16 custom teams per Dynasty. When importing, the created team could replace a roster or keep the replaced team’s roster, while inheriting some characteristics of the team it replaced. Where Team Builder works
EA Help’s current Team Builder guidance says to use a desktop browser on a traditional operating system such as Windows or macOS; phones, tablets, and Chromebooks are unsupported. It also lists an EA account and internet access as requirements, and currently names Play Now, Dynasty, and Road to Glory as destinations for Team Builder content. That is current series-wide guidance, not a statement that every listed mode was supported in the same way in College Football 25 at launch.

College Football 25 launched worldwide July 19, 2024, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, according to EA’s launch announcement.

These are separate patch areas; they should not be mistaken for Team Builder features. The Team Builder headline was the optional Express integration.
