What EA announced about F1 26
In its November 18, 2025 announcement, EA said F1 25 would cover both the 2025 and 2026 championships through paid seasonal content, with a new game in the series planned for 2027. EA described the expansion as bringing the 2026 season’s cars, teams, drivers, and sporting regulations to F1 25. So “no F1 26 release” is best understood as no new annual F1 game planned for 2026 under the announced schedule—not a claim that EA ruled out every possible F1-branded product that year. The 2026 championship content was released as an expansion for the existing game.

What the expansion adds
The Season Pack brings the 2026 season’s cars, teams, drivers, regulations, and gameplay content to F1 25. EA later expanded the season offering: its September 7, 2026 update says the 2026 F2 season became available to Season Pack and Season Edition owners, alongside car and driver visual updates, sponsor changes, and other additions. The update also mentions a Ferrari “Macarena” Wing, a v1.25 patch, and support improvements for some Simagic hardware. EA’s September update lists those additions.

What does not carry over from 2025?
EA’s Season Pack FAQ says custom teams and career saves from the 2025 season do not transfer into the 2026 season. It also says Konnersport and APXGP cannot be added to the 2026 season in Driver Career or My Team. Read EA’s Season Pack FAQ for these mode-specific details.
