| Player | EA’s description | Campaign details |
|---|---|---|
| Daniele De Rossi | Italian midfielder known for his long Roma career and more than 100 senior international caps. | UEFA Primetime Hero. EA says these campaign items upgrade based on the player’s team performances in real-world competition. |
| Míchel Salgado | Spanish full-back whose career included Celta Vigo and Real Madrid; EA credits him with four league titles and two UEFA Champions League wins. | UEFA Primetime Hero, with the same team-performance upgrade approach. |
| Simone Laudehr | German midfielder with more than 100 national-team caps, an Olympic bronze medal and the 2009 UEFA Women’s Euro title. | UEFA Primetime Hero, with the same team-performance upgrade approach. |
EA’s UEFA Primetime announcement says that, after the campaign, the trio’s base versions enter the general player-item pool while their Primetime versions leave it. That describes in-game item availability, not a physical card release.
What “all new Heroes so far” means
EA’s FC 26 launch update said new Heroes would arrive through Football Ultimate Team campaigns during the game cycle, beginning in Season 2, and noted that the winner of a Bayern Hero Vote would be included. The update does not identify that winner by name. EA’s news index also shows later campaigns in 2026, so the three UEFA Primetime names should not be treated as the full set of Hero-related content for the season.

Prime Heroes and other Hero-themed campaign items
EA announced a Prime Heroes campaign on May 29, 2026, celebrating 32 Prime Heroes with signature face stats of 99. The announcement text does not name all 32 players. Its promotional image identifies Jaap Stam, Eden Hazard, Yaya Touré and Sašić, but that image is not a complete roster.

The announcement also names Ricardo Quaresma and Iván Zamorano as Prime Heroes-themed Squad Building Challenge rewards, and a special Dimitar Berbatov and Jill Scott SBC for Soccer Aid. These are named campaign content; the announcement does not establish that each was a newly added base Hero in FC 26.
For context, the “32” figure refers to the Prime Heroes campaign, not the number of new base Heroes introduced in FC 26. The “99” refers to the signature face stats described for that promotion.
