A reveal rating is therefore a snapshot of the game’s initial ratings, not a permanent in-game value or a definitive measure of a player’s real-world ability. Top 10 players in the initial reveal
The reported top ten had three co-leaders at 96 overall; the remaining seven were reported at 95 overall.

What the top-100 list included—and left out
The reveal covered 100 players, not the full roster. Operation Sports reported that the list’s lowest rating was 90 overall and that 30 players shared that score. The list’s 96 overall was its highest rating.
No quarterback appeared in the reported top ten. GameSpot placed Carson Beck and Shedeur Sanders at 93 overall, outside that group. Those examples show that the top-ten list was not a ranking of the best players at every position.

Other reported ratings provide a glimpse beyond the leaders: Ole Miss Athletics identified defensive tackle Walter Nolen at No. 26 with a 93 overall rating, and Jaxson Dart and Tre Harris at 90 overall in EA’s initial ratings.

EA’s initial top-100 ratings reveal was reported on July 10, 2024. College Football 25 launched worldwide on July 19, 2024, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. EA described the game as spanning 134 FBS schools.
