These are launch-era announcements, not confirmation that every feature remains unchanged in the live game in October 2026. EA announced FC 25 for release on September 27, 2024, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
What’s new in FC 25 Clubs?
EA’s Clubs Deep Dive describes changes across five parts of the mode: navigating club life, playing shorter Rush matches, investing in team effects, setting tactics, and managing division risk. It also announced new customization and communication options. The features below reflect EA’s August 2, 2024 announcement; the announcement alone does not establish their current live-game state.

What is the Clubhouse?
The Clubhouse is the new social hub and menu space for Clubs. It brings the club crest, kit, and stadium bundle into the menu, and shows clubmates in the locker room as they enter the mode. EA also announced a Quick Switcher to make it faster to move among Pro customization, club management, and match lobbies.
How does Clubs Rush work?
EA announced Clubs Rush as a 5v5 format: four outfield players per side and an AI goalkeeper. Players can queue alone or with friends. The matchmaking system was designed to try to form a full four-person squad, but a side could start with two human players and two AI teammates. If a teammate left during a match, AI would control that player’s Virtual Pro until the final whistle.

Rush rank and club rewards
Rush has two separate progression tracks. A player’s Rush Player Rank changes based on match results and other factors, including their current rank and the rating gap between teams. EA said seasonal rewards would be based on the highest rank reached, with a partial reset between seasons.
Separately, each Clubs Rush win adds Victory Points to the club’s total. Those points count toward a global Rush leaderboard and seasonal rewards for clubs and players. EA also announced a club-party option for four clubmates to play using their club’s name, crest, and kit.

Rush features beyond Clubs
EA’s separate Rush Deep Dive described wider Rush systems, including flexible player-chosen roles, Quick Chat, a Ping System, training lessons, four camera angles, optional AR Coach guidance, and match ratings intended to recognize teamwork and tactical contributions. These were presented as Rush-wide context, not as features exclusive to Clubs.
What do Facilities do in Clubs?
Facilities are club-level investments that affect player-controlled clubmates in League, Playoff, and Friendly matches. EA said a one-star Facility enhances two attributes. For example, the Running Track improves Sprint Speed and Stamina, while the Performance Analyst improves Vision and Short Pass.

Facilities can be upgraded from one to three stars. EA’s three-star examples include the Performance Analyst granting the Tiki Taka PlayStyle; other Facilities can supply their own named attribute and PlayStyle benefits. A three-star Facility can also allow a Pro to equip a seventh PlayStyle or a third PlayStyle+.
Facility effects apply to player-controlled clubmates, not AI-controlled ones. Managers can deactivate active Facilities to free budget and change which benefits the club uses.

How do FC IQ tactics and the Clubs lobby work?
EA said Club Managers can configure up to five distinct tactics through FC IQ. The announcement also said AI squadmates have Role+ familiarity for every role. Clubs Lobby changes were intended to make player roles and responsibilities clearer before kickoff.

EA announced the return of relegation with a limited number of chances for a club entering a division. Each loss removes one chance. After the club runs out, it faces a one-off Relegation Battle against a similarly skilled club in the same situation.

- Draw: The club stays in its division, but receives only a partial reset of its chances.
- Elite division: EA said Elite clubs would not face relegation at launch.
What customization and community features did EA announce?
EA announced Cranium Technology for more detailed face and head customization. New Pro cosmetic categories included hairstyles, headwear, facial hair, tattoos, boots, facial accessories, gloves, and arm sleeves. EA said these cosmetics would be unlocked through the new Clubs Store. Club and stadium items included stadium bundles, kits, tifos, and trophies.
Quick Chat adds short messages such as “Nice,” “Thanks,” “Sorry,” and “Unlucky.” EA said a Clubs captain could open it by pressing down on the D-pad. Call-for-pass indicators were also set to show short text. Other announced quality-of-life and matchmaking changes were:
- A longer timer in the post-match menu.
- League matchmaking that prioritizes opponents with similar Skill Ratings.
- Playoffs matchmaking that continues to prioritize division.
- A maximum Virtual Pro height of 6’5″ (about 195.58 cm) for every position.
When was FC 25 announced, and which platforms were listed?
EA published the Clubs Deep Dive on August 2, 2024. Its July 17, 2024 game announcement gave September 27, 2024 as FC 25’s release date and listed PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. These dates and platforms describe EA’s launch announcement; they do not establish current editions, availability, or post-launch feature changes.
