What EA announced for the Season 7 Premium Pass
EA described the Premium Pass as an additional reward ladder for Season 7, rather than a replacement for the standard Season Pass. The offer covered Football Ultimate Team, Clubs, and Manager/Player Career, with Season Points earned across Career Mode, Clubs, and Ultimate Team used to unlock pass rewards. What rewards and progression did it offer?
Tradeable packs and player rewards
EA said Season 7 Premium Pass rewards included tradeable packs, player items, Evolutions, and other rewards. It called tradeable packs a first for seasonal rewards through the Premium Pass. The announcement named TOTS Flashbacks and TOTS Honourable Mentions tied to 2024/25 performances, but did not establish pack odds or the realized value of the rewards.

Season Points boost
EA said Premium Pass level 20 included 10,000 Season Points. The boost could add up to 10,000 points to progress, up to 40,000 SP or level 40, and applied only to Season 7; unused points did not carry over. Players could claim it from the FC Season menu in Ultimate Team or the FC Hub. EA also said buying the pass after reaching levels on the standard ladder would grant the corresponding Premium Pass rewards for levels already completed. Other rewards could be left unclaimed for later.

Did the Premium Pass include a free ICON?
The reviewed Season 7 announcement does not identify a specific ICON as a Premium Pass reward, so the claim that this pass included free ICONs is unverified by that announcement. EA’s separate ICON guide defines ICONs as Player Items representing great footballers from past eras and lists possible acquisition routes including the Transfer Market, SBC rewards, Objectives, Season Levels, and Rewards Packs. Those general routes do not confirm that an ICON was part of this particular pass.
Did the paid pass remove rewards from the free ladder?
EA said the Season 7 Premium Pass was “purely additive” and that it would not shift rewards from the standard Season Pass into the Premium Pass. That describes EA’s stated design for this FC 25 season; it is not a general statement about later games or seasons.

What the announcement does not establish
EA’s announcement sets out the price and reward features it planned for Season 7. It does not establish whether the pass represented good value for an individual player, how players ultimately fared with its rewards, or what the packs were worth in practice.
