Why the headline says “revealed,” not “leaked”
EA’s ratings-week announcement said the Premier League reveal was scheduled for September 9, 2025, and that the complete ratings database would be available September 12. MeriStation’s same-day report described EA as disclosing the list. The available evidence therefore supports calling these revealed ratings, rather than claiming they were leaked. EA’s announcement also included a separate global top-26 table; that is not the Premier League ranking shown above. EA’s ratings-week announcement and MeriStation’s September 9 list document the reveal and its reported order.
What these overall ratings do—and do not—show
EA says FC ratings draw on authentic data from real matches. That describes the basis for the game’s ratings; it does not make an overall rating an objective measure of football ability. The reported top-20 list supplies overall ratings and ranking, but not individual attribute breakdowns. Use it to compare players within this FC 26 snapshot, rather than treating it as a direct comparison with current form, another FC edition or a different game mode.

EA’s September 2025 announcement said FC 26 included more than 20,000 players across 750-plus clubs and 35-plus leagues. It also said Football Ultimate Team players were rated relative to their league and the athletes they face in real life. Those broad details provide context, but they do not change the scope of the Premier League list above. EA’s ratings announcement explains the ratings context.

This ranking concerns EA SPORTS FC 26 and its September 2025 ratings reveal; it is not a live FC 27 list. EA announced FC 26 on July 16, 2025, with a worldwide launch date of September 26, 2025. Its live ratings page now redirects to FC 27, so it is not a source for verifying this historical FC 26 table. EA’s FC 26 announcement gives the original game context.
