Where to find the Giant-Crusher
Travel to the Outer Wall Phantom Tree Site of Grace in Altus Plateau, then search south of the grace for a carriage. The Giant-Crusher is inside the carriage’s chest. This location is reported by Game8 and independently by the Tarnished Wiki.
Requirements, weight, and weapon skill
Game8 lists the Giant-Crusher as a Colossal Weapon requiring 60 Strength and weighing 26.5. Its weapon skill is Endure. The weight is a substantial equip-load consideration, so account for it when planning armor and other equipment. These figures are guide-reported rather than independently tested here; consult the weapon listing for its stat details.
How to upgrade the Giant-Crusher
The weapon follows the regular Smithing Stone upgrade path and can be upgraded to +25. Its final upgrade requires an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone, according to Game8’s listing. The Tarnished Wiki also reports a Smithing Stone upgrade path.

What the weapon description says
The Giant-Crusher’s in-game description calls it “A hammer made from a boulder, used in the War against the Giants” and says it was largely forgotten after the giants were quelled and humans turned to fighting one another. The description’s closing line—“Man has grown feeble in comparison to his forebears”—underscores the weapon’s massive scale. The text is reproduced on the Elden Ring Wiki.
Is the Giant-Crusher a good choice?
It is a clear fit for a character able to meet its 60 Strength requirement and carry its 26.5 weight. Whether it is the right weapon for a particular build depends on the character’s stats, preferred moveset, affinity, and Ash of War. Available guide information does not establish a reliable, tested damage ranking or a universally best Ash of War; Game8 notes that it is still evaluating Ashes of War for the weapon. Treat claims that it is the “best” as build- and version-dependent rather than settled fact.
