The test was a time-limited preview, not an ongoing beta program. Buying or otherwise accessing the released game does not grant entry to the old test.
How did the Network Test work?
Historically, players applied for a limited number of test access codes. The test was announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only—not PC, PS4, or Xbox One. Bandai Namco described three-player squads exploring an evolving map through a three-day-and-night cycle, facing increasingly difficult enemies and bosses before a final confrontation with a Nightlord.

European application rules
Bandai Namco Europe’s rules applied to its promotion and should not be assumed to describe every region’s terms. For that promotion, applicants had to register between January 10, 2025 at 3 p.m. CEST and January 20, 2025 at 3 p.m. CEST. They had to be at least 18, reside in an eligible listed territory, and use or create a Bandai Namco Europe account. Applicants selected PS5 or Xbox Series X|S; successful participants received one access code for their chosen platform. Participation was free and required no purchase.
The European rules scheduled the test from February 14, 2025 at 3 p.m. CEST to February 17, 2025 at 7 a.m. CEST. They stated an allocation of 85,025 PS5 codes and 12,898 Xbox Series X|S codes for that European promotion; those figures are not a global participant count. How can you play Nightreign now?
Access the released full game on a supported platform. FromSoftware announced its release for May 30, 2025, and says the game can be played without owning the original ELDEN RING. The released game supports PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Those are the full game’s platforms; they are broader than the two platforms used for the old test.
The official Bandai Namco page lists the game as available now. FromSoftware also announced a physical package edition for PS5 and PS4. These are options for playing the full release, not ways to obtain a Network Test code. FromSoftware’s release announcement · Bandai Namco’s Nightreign page
