Red Rogue is a flexible, blood-focused play style built around Reduvia: meet the dagger’s requirements, protect your health and roll, then invest in its damage and blood-loss buildup. Its signature skill, Reduvia Blood Blade, can pressure enemies from range; at close range, it can also connect with the dagger itself. That extra hit is an opportunity, not a reason to trade recklessly.
What is a Reduvia Red Rogue build?
“Red Rogue” is a useful name for an agile Reduvia-centered approach, not an official preset or a fixed, tested character build. Reduvia pairs ordinary dagger attacks with Reduvia Blood Blade, a ranged skill that launches a blood blade. You can use it to apply pressure without standing beside an enemy, or move closer when an opening makes a skill hit with both its projectile and weapon part worthwhile.

The weapon’s skill and affinity are fixed: you cannot swap in another Ash of War or change its affinity. The weapon reference also says Reduvia cannot be buffed by spells or consumables, so plan around its built-in skill and scaling rather than a temporary buff routine.
How do you get Reduvia?
- Go to the area near Murkwater Cave.
- Defeat Bloody Finger Nerijus, who drops Reduvia.
The drop location, requirements, and weapon properties are listed in Eldenpedia’s Reduvia reference.

Which stats should you level?
Start with the requirements, then make the character durable enough to survive mistakes, and only then lean harder into damage. There is no official Reduvia-specific final stat spread established by the cited material; your level, other equipment, and comfort with risk all matter.
Meet Reduvia’s requirements
Reduvia requires Strength 5, Dexterity 13, and Arcane 13. These are the minimums to wield it, not an optimized endgame allocation. Its listed scaling is E in Strength, D in Dexterity, and D in Arcane, and it has 50 passive blood-loss buildup.
Prioritize survival if you are fragile
Bandai Namco’s general advanced stats guide recommends at least 40 Vigor and says 60 can be worthwhile once other stats are addressed. It gives these health totals: 1,450 at 40 Vigor, 1,900 at 60, and 2,100 at 99. These are general character-stat reference points, not results from a Reduvia build test.
Invest in Arcane, then consider Dexterity
Arcane is the main offensive stat to emphasize for Reduvia’s blood-loss buildup; Dexterity also contributes to the weapon’s scaling. The same Bandai Namco guide lists general weapon-scaling softcaps for Arcane at 20, 50, and 80. Those broad breakpoints do not establish a Reduvia-specific optimal Dexterity cap or prove that every character should push Arcane to one of those numbers. Treat them as context for diminishing returns, not as a mandatory build recipe.

Keep a comfortable roll
Endurance can help with stamina and equipment load, but the useful amount depends on what else you wear and carry. Bandai Namco’s guide classifies equipment load at 70% or above as a heavy roll and advises staying at medium roll or below. For a dagger-focused approach, avoid sacrificing mobility for armor weight unless you deliberately accept the trade-off.

The skill costs 6 FP. Its ranged projectile lets you threaten an enemy without immediately entering melee range; if you use it close enough, the weapon part can hit as well. The two patterns trade safety for potential contact damage, rather than making one universally better.
| Use pattern | Exposure | Skill hits | FP cost | Ordinary dagger attacks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Projectile-focused | Lower exposure than stepping in, though you still need to watch enemy attacks and positioning. | Projectile; the close-range weapon-part hit is less likely to connect. | 6 FP per skill use. | Can be used when an opening makes closing distance worthwhile. |
| Close-range skill use | Higher exposure because you must be near the enemy. | May connect with both projectile and dagger weapon part. | 6 FP per skill use. | Fits naturally into close-range openings, but does not make trading hits safe. |
Use the projectile to apply pressure when approaching is dangerous. Try the closer version only when an enemy is committed to an animation or otherwise unlikely to punish you. The weapon reference describes the close-range double hit; it does not provide a tested damage comparison or guarantee that both parts will land in every situation. See Eldenpedia’s Reduvia Blood Blade reference for the skill’s behavior.
What changed in patches, and what is current?
Bandai Namco’s official version 1.07 patch notes say Reduvia Blood Blade received increased attack power and added damage detection to the weapon part. The official version 1.17 patch page, dated August 27, 2026, displays App Ver. 1.17 and Regulation Ver. 1.17 after applying the update; Reduvia is not named in the adjustments listed there. That absence only describes the adjustments shown on that page, not every change in the game’s history.
